What you'll do

• Lead and manage the audit team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient audit processes.
• Develop and implement audit plans and strategies that align with the company's objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed audit reports that summarize findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to compliance standards and effective risk management practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing to enhance the effectiveness of the audit function.
• Facilitate training sessions for team members to promote professional development and enhance auditing skills.
• Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies during audit reviews and inspections.
• Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for operational efficiency.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions taken by management.
• Assist in the development of internal policies and procedures to strengthen the overall governance framework of the organization.
• Foster a culture of transparency and accountability within the audit team and across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and financial reporting practices.
• Proven experience in leading audit teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in work products.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience in the technology or software development industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques to enhance audit processes.
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and regulations.
• Previous experience with risk management frameworks and internal control assessments.
• Multilingual abilities, particularly in English and Armenian, are advantageous.

• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
