About the role
DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Sr. Project Manager in our Olathe, KS office! Responsibilities will include ensuring project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities. The Senior Project Manager will own the end to end execution of construction projects, driving the schedule and budget while leading cross functional field and office teams. This role requires a proactive leader who can review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters, field staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project. The hire will discuss and establish work plan outlines with staff, assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority, and provide technical advice and trouble shooting as issues arise. Success will be measured through on time and on budget project delivery, strong communication with customers to develop sales opportunities and solve problems, and diligent management of submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts. The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for the financial success of projects and oversee additional company projects as assigned.

What you'll do
Ensure construction project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.
Review project plans and specs to determine time frame, budget parameters, field staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project.
Discuss and establish work plan outlines with staff; assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority; provide technical advice and trouble shooting.
Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed.
Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and solve problems throughout the project lifecycle.
Work with submittals, permits, close outs, and ordering parts to keep project documentation and procurement aligned with timelines.
Take responsibility for the financial success of projects, monitoring costs and taking corrective action as required.
Oversee additional company projects as assigned to support organizational priorities and capacity needs.
Utilize strong command of Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or word processing software to track budgets, schedules, and project data.
Apply proven experience in fast paced environments, juggling a wide portfolio of responsibilities with keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record to support regional travel and site visits as needed.
Leverage project management or estimating experience within the construction industry to anticipate risks and deliver solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred for this senior level position.
Project Management or Estimating experience within the construction industry preferred to align with sector specific demands.
Must have demonstrated experience using Excel or other spreadsheet software and Word or word processing software for reporting and analysis.
Must have proven experience in a fast paced environment, juggling a lot of responsibility, with keen attention to detail to manage concurrent project demands.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are a must to coordinate teams and stakeholders effectively.
Must possess a Valid Driver's License and good driving record for travel across the Olathe region and surrounding sites.
Successful completion of employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record (if applicable) required in advance of hire.
Candidates must be able to meet all legal work authorization requirements without sponsorship at this time.
Nice to have
Project Management or Estimating experience within the construction industry is preferred and would provide a strong foundation for success.
Experience with carpentry, drywall, or general construction is desired to better understand trade workflows and field constraints.

This is a full-time opportunity based in Olathe, Kansas.
No visa sponsorship is available for this role at this time.
Relocation is not supported.
Travel may be required within the region for project oversight and customer meetings.
