People Operations & Recruiting Partner
Job description
About the role
Dexmate is building the foundation for physical AI - a unified platform that combines high-quality robotic hardware with a universal Physical AI OS, making robots as easy to build and deploy as software. Today, robotics is fragmented, slow, and closed: most builders are forced to reinvent the same stack again and again, and most ideas never make it past the prototype stage. We exist to change that. Our mission is to democratize robotics by lowering the barrier to entry, delivering a plug-and-play platform for developers, researchers, and enterprises, and cultivating an open ecosystem that accelerates the evolution of physical AI.
If you want to help shape the next layer of human capability - and believe the future of robotics should be built together, not in isolation - we'd love to build it with you.
What you'll do
You will manage core employee lifecycle processes, including preboarding, onboarding, employee changes, leave administration, performance-cycle coordination, and offboarding. You will maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, employment documents, policies, checklists, and internal people documentation. You will coordinate with payroll, benefits, immigration, legal, finance, IT, and external vendors to resolve operational issues. You will serve as a responsive first point of contact for day-to-day employee questions and ensure issues are followed through to resolution. You will support managers with onboarding plans, employee communications, performance processes, engagement initiatives, and other people-related needs. You will help build practical, scalable HR processes that support a growing organization without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
In parallel, you will partner closely with the HR and Talent lead and hiring managers to manage open roles, hiring priorities, and interview processes. You will own interview scheduling, candidate communication, interviewer preparation, feedback collection, debrief coordination, and process follow-up. You will maintain accurate ATS data and ensure candidates move through the process efficiently. You will coordinate offer approvals, offer letters, background and reference checks, preboarding, and onboarding handoffs. You will manage recruiting agencies and external partners, track submissions, and ensure timely communication. You will monitor recruiting funnels and identify delays, missing feedback, or other bottlenecks before they affect hiring outcomes.
You will personally source, engage, screen, and assess candidates for selected technical and business roles. You will build targeted pipelines through LinkedIn, referrals, professional communities, research, and other creative sourcing channels. You will conduct recruiter screens and evaluate candidate qualifications, motivation, compensation expectations, and overall fit. You will support offer discussions, candidate closing, and ongoing relationship management. You will step into urgent searches and other recruiting priorities whenever additional execution support is needed.
You will use AI tools and agentic workflows to improve sourcing research, outreach preparation, interview documentation, reporting, scheduling, onboarding, and recurring HR operations. You will identify repetitive work and build lightweight automations across the ATS, HRIS, and internal productivity tools. You will create clear SOPs, templates, trackers, and dashboards that improve visibility and reduce manual work. You will apply appropriate human judgment, confidentiality, and data privacy when using AI in recruiting and HR workflows.
Requirements
You bring 3+ years of hands-on experience across recruiting, recruiting operations, and HR or People Operations. You have direct experience managing workflows from candidate sourcing and interview coordination through offer and onboarding. You have experience supporting employee lifecycle processes, HRIS administration, employee documentation, payroll or benefits coordination, and employee relations. You are experienced in coordinating background checks, reference verifications, offer approvals, and regulatory compliance. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with frequent context switching and shifting priorities. You are highly organized and meticulous, with strong written and verbal communication skills and a track record of managing sensitive information with discretion. You are comfortable using ATS, HRIS, and productivity tools to execute reliable, repeatable processes at scale.
