About the role
You will own the end to end commercial lifecycle for a book of global enterprise customers, guiding them from onboarding through to maturity and expansion. You will translate complex workforce management challenges into clear strategic value, positioning Deputy as the mission critical platform for frontline operations. You will leverage data and AI to uncover growth opportunities, shaping compelling narratives that resonate with executive stakeholders. You will act as a trusted advisor, building long term relationships that turn transactional engagements into strategic partnerships. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of customer outcomes and drive adoption across the organization. You will champion the customer's voice internally, ensuring product insights and feedback directly influence our product roadmap. You will utilize AI tools responsibly to enhance your productivity, streamline reporting, and generate actionable insights for customers. You will be expected to operate with autonomy, demonstrating ownership and accountability for your portfolio's commercial health.

What you'll do
Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned enterprise customers, aligning business objectives with Deputy's capabilities.
Identify and qualify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, driving upsell and cross sell initiatives that increase customer lifetime value.
Champion the adoption of Deputy's AI features, enabling customers to work smarter, faster, and more creatively.
Analyze usage data and key performance indicators to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
Build and maintain strong executive level relationships, positioning Deputy as a strategic partner in workforce transformation.
Own the renewal process end to end, ensuring commercial terms reflect customer value and align with business objectives.
Collaborate with sales, implementation, and product teams to resolve complex customer issues and remove barriers to success.
Translate customer requirements into actionable insights for product and go to market teams, influencing future development.
Forecast pipeline and revenue accurately, providing transparent updates to stakeholders and managing quota attainment.
Educate customers on best practices for using Deputy's platform, driving higher engagement and retention.
Proactively manage commercial risks, identifying potential churn signals and implementing retention strategies.
Represent Deputy at industry events and customer meetings, reinforcing our brand as a leader in frontline workforce management.
Leverage AI tools to automate reporting, synthesize customer feedback, and generate compelling business cases.
Act as a point of contact for escalations, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of commercial and operational issues.
Continuously research market trends and competitor activity to refine positioning and support effective selling.
Requirements
You possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
You bring a minimum of three years of experience in account management, business development, or a customer facing commercial role.
You have a proven track record of managing complex B2B software sales cycles and navigating enterprise buying committees.
You are comfortable working with C level executives, influencing strategic decisions with data and clear business rationale.
You have experience using data and insights to identify growth opportunities and drive commercial outcomes.
You demonstrate strong proficiency in tools such as CRM, productivity suites, and collaboration platforms.
You have a history of building long term relationships, earning trust and credibility with stakeholders.
You are highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, own deadlines, and maintain accuracy in dynamic environments.
Nice to have
Experience in the workforce management, human capital management, or human resources technology sector.
Familiarity with AI platforms and responsible AI practices in a commercial context.
Experience serving customers in highly regulated industries such as healthcare or finance.
Practical notes
This role is based in Sydney and requires regular presence in the office.
Travel may be required up to 25% within the region for customer visits and company events.
