Lead, Product Rollout
Job description
About the role
Lead, Product Rollout (Vendor)
This role is a senior product operations position focused on enabling restaurant vendors to achieve operational excellence. The Lead, Product Rollout (Vendor) is expected to own complex challenges that impact vendor partners, driving improvements in order fulfillment, vendor performance, operating hours, and overall satisfaction. Operating at the intersection of regional commercial leadership and global product teams, this individual will shape the roadmap for vendor-facing products across 15 markets in APAC and the European Union. The position requires building rigorous business cases and co-owning key performance metrics.
The successful candidate will move beyond execution to actively influence the product strategy and future capabilities. They will mentor junior team members and drive the development of scalable platform solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of the end-to-end vendor journey and the ability to translate intricate operational problems into robust, platform-level architectures.
Product Discovery & Roadmap Influence
A core responsibility involves engaging with a wide array of local business stakeholders, including Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Support. The Lead will gather product feedback, identify critical pain points, and refine feature requests to ensure alignment with market needs. This requires a deep-dive into vendor performance metrics, with a specific focus on Vendor Fail Rate (VFR), Vendor Offline rates, customer satisfaction drivers related to vendors, and Average Opening Hours. The analysis of these metrics is intended to uncover systemic platform bottlenecks and potential cannibalization risks.
The role holder will plan the strategy for POS and Order Transmission by evaluating friction points inherent in both direct and indirect integrations. They will be responsible for translating complex operational challenges into scalable, modular platform components. This involves architecting solutions that can be deployed consistently across diverse market environments.
Global Go-To-Market Orchestration & Leadership
The Lead will lead the end-to-end cross-functional rollout of critical, high-risk vendor migrations. This involves coordination with operations, commercial, product, and finance teams to ensure a seamless transition. A key part of this responsibility is architecting and standardizing deployment playbooks, FAQs, and frameworks. These tools are essential for the wider Commercial and Operations teams to ensure rapid platform parity and consistent execution across all 15 markets.
Stakeholder Management & Mentorship
Acting as the primary point of contact, the Lead will bridge the gap between product, local, and regional teams. They will maintain alignment among all stakeholders through regular updates and structured checkpoints. This includes tracking and reporting on rollout performance, adoption rates, and stakeholder feedback. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, guiding them through complex rollout processes and product discovery initiatives.
Requirements
The position requires 6 to 8 years of experience in product operations, commercial programme management, or related roles within a high-velocity, multi-region technology environment. A deep understanding of vendor operational excellence, order fulfillment, and partner enablement in complex two-sided marketplace platforms is essential. Candidates must have a proven history of working with restaurants, delivery services, and logistics partners to improve tech-driven operations.
Applicants should demonstrate a proven track record in delivering large-scale, multi-quarter projects that involve numerous cross-functional stakeholders and complex technological dependencies. The ability to operate effectively in high-ambiguity environments is critical. This includes the skill to dive deep into product and operational details, convince stakeholders to prioritize long-term gains, and structure detailed deployment plans. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, matrixed environments is required.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are non-negotiable. The ideal candidate will be familiar with project management platforms like Asana and will have a thorough understanding of the product development lifecycle from conception to launch.
