About the role
This position is headquartered in Singapore and operates on a full-time basis, carrying a base salary of 360,000 SGD per year. The role reports directly to the global leadership team and grants the incumbent significant autonomy to operate within a fast-paced, international technology landscape. Your primary ownership lies in architecting and executing market-specific growth strategies for the subscription portfolio across more than ten markets spanning Europe and APAC regions. You will own the complete performance spectrum, driving subscriber acquisition, retention, and sustainable financial outcomes specifically for the foodpanda and foodora brands. Success in this position is defined by your ability to deliver measurable impact on Subscription GMV penetration and P&L results, ensuring the initiatives translate into tangible business value. You will lead a small, high-performing team, setting clear priorities and enabling execution excellence through coaching and alignment. A core part of your mission involves partnering deeply with Product, Pricing, Commercial, Marketing, and Quick Commerce functions to refine the subscription value proposition. What you'll do
- Execute the end-to-end strategy for subscription growth, taking ownership of performance metrics and market-specific adaptations from ideation to rollout.
- Partner with the Product team to define, test, and iterate on the subscription value proposition, ensuring alignment with user needs and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with Pricing to optimize subscription tiers and pricing models, balancing competitiveness with profitability across diverse markets.
- Work closely with Commercial and Marketing stakeholders to design and launch campaigns that drive subscriber acquisition and long-term retention.
- Liaise with the Quick Commerce function to identify synergies and integration points that enhance the overall subscription experience.
- Define rigorous measurement frameworks and establish clear success metrics to monitor the performance of all subscription initiatives.
- Analyze complex data sets to generate actionable insights, presenting data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Influence strategic decisions through structured thinking, identifying, testing, and scaling the highest-impact growth initiatives on a continuous basis.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team, setting priorities, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Translate customer feedback and market intelligence into tangible improvements for subscription products and commercial offerings.
- Maintain a bias for action, moving seamlessly between strategic planning and execution to meet aggressive growth targets.
- Leverage advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets to build financial models, track KPIs, and support scenario planning.
- Utilize SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze data, ensuring a deep understanding of subscriber behavior and performance drivers.

Requirements

- You must possess 8+ years of professional experience in top-tier management consulting, strategy, high-growth technology, investment banking, or FMCG environments.
- You must have direct experience with subscriptions, loyalty programs, or consumer growth, demonstrating a proven track record in these areas.
- You must demonstrate proven people leadership, having guided and developed high-performing teams toward shared objectives.
- You must have experience navigating cross-functional stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment across diverse teams.
- You must have a bias for action, capable of moving seamlessly between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
- You must possess advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, leveraging these tools for complex analysis and reporting.
- You must have SQL skills that allow you to query databases and derive insights independently to support decision-making.
- You must thrive in a dynamic, international setting where ambiguity is the norm and decisions are made based on data.
