About the role
You will partner with the Brand & Experience team to shape how Deliveroo is perceived by customers, riders, and partners across every interaction. You will translate campaign concepts into tangible assets and community interactions that reinforce the brand's personality and values. Your work will ensure that each touchpoint aligns with Deliveroo's ambition to be a loved, global brand in a fast-moving marketplace. You will contribute directly to building an emotional connection between Deliveroo and its audiences through thoughtful execution and curiosity. You will support the planning and execution of initiatives that drive engagement and visibility in local markets. You will learn how strategic storytelling intersects with operational execution in a dynamic delivery ecosystem. You will document insights and learnings to help refine future campaigns and improve team collaboration.

What you'll do
- Support Campaigns: Assist in the planning and organisation of key marketing campaigns, collaborating across the team to ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate Social Media: Build monthly content schedules and coordinate filming opportunities with internal teams and external agencies.
- Manage Ambassadors: Help manage partnerships with brand ambassadors, including coordination, performance tracking, and planning.
- Drive Community
Engagement: Interact with our audience by responding to messages and comments, actively seeking ways to increase brand visibility.
- Create Content: Support the team with the creation and distribution of engaging content across multiple digital channels.
- Monitor Market Trends: Track competitor activities, platform updates, and audience behaviors to inform local marketing decisions.
- Assist with Event Execution: Support on-ground or virtual events, ensuring that logistics and creative elements are aligned with campaign goals.
- Maintain Brand Guidelines: Ensure all outputs adhere to Deliveroo's visual and tonal standards across digital and physical assets.
- Analyse Performance: Compile reports on engagement metrics and campaign outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work alongside product, operations, and rider teams to gather insights and integrate feedback into marketing initiatives.
- Support Localised Testing: Help run small-scale experiments to validate concepts and refine messaging for broader rollout.
- Facilitate Internal Communication: Share updates and best practices across teams to maintain alignment and encourage knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to Long-Term Strategy: Provide input on brand positioning and customer experience based on frontline observations and data.
- Champion Innovation: Explore new formats, tools, and channels that can enhance Deliveroo's storytelling and community reach.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Organisation Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Digital Savvy: A strong understanding of social media platforms and current digital trends.

- Availability: You are able to commit to the internship for the full duration with a consistent schedule.
