Delinea seeks a Senior Product Manager to guide the development of our artificial intelligence capabilities within identity security. This role involves overseeing both the internal AI infrastructure and customer-facing AI products. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI strategy, ensuring both operational efficiency and significant customer value. The position requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features from initial concept through production deployment. Success in this role depends on balancing innovation with the practical constraints of enterprise security. Your work will directly influence how the company leverages AI to solve critical identity challenges.
Key facts
What you'll do
Define and advance the roadmap for core internal AI systems, including aspects like load balancing, automated compliance, security oversight, feedback mechanisms, model routing, and custom-trained large language models.
Lead the evolution of external AI offerings, such as open-source solutions like the MCP server and customer-facing features within our Iris AI product suite.
Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and business units to bring innovative AI-driven product strategies to market.
Ensure all AI products adhere to strict security, governance, and compliance standards throughout their lifecycle.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities to use AI protocols and multi-agent frameworks to enhance identity security solutions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their applicability to solving identity security problems at scale.
Synthesize feedback from customers, sales teams, and technical partners to refine product hypotheses and prioritize features.
Own the documentation and technical specifications necessary for cross-functional alignment on AI initiatives.
Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to ensure our AI products remain industry-leading.
Champion the user experience by bridging the gap between complex AI capabilities and intuitive product design.
Drive the adoption of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocols to enable seamless integration.
Establish metrics and key performance indicators to measure the success of AI products in the market.
Partner with customer success to identify expansion opportunities and address enterprise client needs.
Continuously iterate on product features based on data analysis and stakeholder input.
Requirements
Possess at least 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on AI/ML, cybersecurity, identity management, or enterprise SaaS.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of modern AI/ML concepts, including large language models, multi-agent systems, context engineering, MCP, and A2A protocols.
Have experience with model fine-tuning and training, and be able to discuss technical trade-offs with engineering teams.
Exhibit a proven ability to work effectively with data scientists, engineers, and UX designers to deliver scalable and user-friendly solutions.
Show a strong awareness of security, compliance, and privacy best practices for enterprise software and AI.
Provide evidence of successfully managing and launching AI-driven or data-centric products through their entire lifecycle.
Have experience supporting or developing open-source AI platforms or direct customer-facing products.
Be able to communicate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
Demonstrate ownership and accountability for product outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate vision and requirements.
Show the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Have experience working with cloud infrastructure concepts, even if not deeply technical.
Be prepared to engage with legal and compliance teams regarding regulatory requirements for AI and data usage.
Nice to have
Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with privileged access management (PAM) or identity governance and administration (IGA) initiatives.
Experience engaging with open-source communities or technical user groups.
Practical notes
Up to 25% travel may be required.
