We are currently hiring Senior Consultants to join our growing delivery team. This role is designed for problem solvers who want to work at the intersection of data, technology, and consulting. As a Senior Consultant, you will partner directly with clients and project teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, drive meaningful outcomes, and support digital transformation initiatives. You will work with technologies such as Premier's proprietary software product Applaud, SQL, PowerShell, Excel, and VBA. What You'll Do
In this Senior Consultant role, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom solutions for clients using a diverse set of software and programming tools. This includes working with Premier's proprietary software product Applaud, as well as SQL, PowerShell, Excel, and VBA. You will apply quantitative methods to derive actionable insights, patterns, and outcomes from complex datasets, turning raw information into strategic value. You will take direct ownership of mission-critical data requirements in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment, ensuring that deliverables meet client expectations and business objectives.
You will leverage your technical expertise to provide guidance and direction to clients as you tackle complex problems related to data strategy and implementation. A core responsibility will be identifying and translating client business requirements into clear technical deliverables, ensuring alignment between stakeholder needs and technology solutions. You will deliver technology solutions across a range of industries, including Manufacturing & Distribution, Education & Government, Consumer & Industrial Products, and Life Sciences & Healthcare. This involves working closely with clients to understand their current data landscape and advising on strategies to align with their future-state data vision.
Additionally, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their professional development and ensuring high-quality output across engagements. The role requires strong ownership, including participation in end-to-end project delivery, documentation, and testing of solutions. Note that the responsibilities for this position could expand to include other duties based on the needs of the company and the skills of the candidate.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to bring a combination of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Employers seek candidates with at least 3 years of experience in a data or consulting role working on implementation projects, with preferred experience in Workday or Oracle environments. You should have at least 1 year of prior experience working directly with structured data, including analyzing, organizing, and reporting on datasets. A BS or BA degree is required, and you should possess intermediate experience with a programming or scripting language.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel is essential, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and VBA. You must also have intermediate knowledge of SQL to query, transform, and analyze data effectively. The role demands excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities, allowing you to manage multiple priorities and deliver structured solutions. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional requirements include strong attention to detail, an inquisitive nature, and a desire to continuously learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. You should have a personal drive to go above and beyond, along with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work. A strong sense of ethics and authorization to work in the United States without support for a work visa are mandatory. The role requires the ability to travel up to 25-50% of the time to support client engagements across various locations.
