Darkroom is actively searching for a performance-driven individual to take ownership of high-budget social media advertising initiatives that define the trajectory of digital growth for U.S. brands. In this capacity, the successful candidate will act as the architect of the media funnel, responsible for the conception, implementation, and optimization of complex campaigns that span the entire customer journey. The role demands a fusion of creative intuition and analytical rigor, where hypotheses are tested through data and results are scaled based on empirical evidence. You will be the primary steward of client outcomes, ensuring that every dollar of advertising spend is justified by measurable returns and strategic alignment. This position requires a proactive mindset capable of anticipating platform shifts and market trends before they impact performance. You will work in tandem with creative and strategy teams to ensure that messaging is consistent, compelling, and optimized for the specificities of each social ecosystem. Ultimately, your work will directly influence the revenue trajectory of the brands you serve, making this role critical to the success of the media division.

What you'll do
- Formulate and deploy comprehensive paid media strategies designed to achieve user acquisition and revenue targets across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and CCTV platforms.
- Conduct in-depth brand and website audits to extract unique value propositions and uncover latent market opportunities that can be leveraged in campaign messaging.
- Provide strategic consultation on short-form video assets and direct response creative, focusing on the optimization of hooks, narrative flow, and conversion pathways.
- Assume responsibility for the active management of five to ten concurrent client accounts, where monthly expenditures range from eighty thousand dollars to three million dollars.
- Leverage native ad managers, third-party analytics suites, and artificial intelligence technologies to distill complex data streams into actionable insights that solve attribution challenges.
- Maintain a vigilant oversight of core performance indicators such as Cost Per Acquisition, Customer Acquisition Cost, increment on Return on Ad Spend, net and average CAC, Marketing Efficiency Ratio, adjusted MER, Click Through Rate, Tap Through Rate, and Hold Rate.
- Implement daily bid adjustments and budget allocations based on real-time observations of platform trends, audience behavior, and competitive dynamics.
- Architect quarterly financial projections and strategic roadmaps that are grounded in historical performance data and aligned with overarching client business objectives.
- Dissect e-commerce Profit and Loss statements to ensure that marketing expenditures are calibrated to the broader financial health and profitability goals of the business.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to iterate on creative briefs, ensuring that production schedules and asset delivery timelines support high-impact campaign launches.
- Establish testing frameworks that isolate variables in creative, audience, and placement to determine the most efficient combinations for performance uplift.
- Document playbooks and standard operating procedures that codify successful tactics and enable the replication of success across new client engagements.
- Liaise with sales and customer success teams to provide transparent reporting and strategic updates that reinforce trust and demonstrate value.
- Champion a culture of experimentation, where rapid iterations and data-backed decisions replace stagnant, assumption-based marketing practices.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of seven years of professional experience in the field of paid media, with a concentrated expertise in Paid Social channels and the Meta advertising ecosystem.
- Demonstrate a track record of managing client portfolios with a cumulative monthly advertising spend of no less than four hundred thousand dollars.
- Present a verifiable history of constructing high-converting marketing funnels, from the initial point of awareness through to the final conversion event on the landing page.
- Exhibit mastery in the execution of creative testing methodologies, the refinement of ad copy, and the formulation of strategies specific to short-form video content.
- Apply advanced data literacy to inform budget forecasting, analyze performance variances, and generate precise reports for stakeholders.
- Show an intrinsic understanding of full-funnel e-commerce marketing models, including the nuances of customer lifetime value, contribution margin, and revenue drivers.
- Adhere to the contractual and compliance standards required when managing high-budget accounts that involve significant financial risk and regulatory considerations.
- Operate effectively within a distributed team structure, maintaining clear communication and timely deliverables despite geographical separation.
