About the role
We are looking for an experienced leader in performance marketing to take charge of our paid social strategy and guide the development of our team within the Paid Media division. This position emphasizes strategic client management, comprehensive funnel architecture, and the mentorship of team members to significantly enhance revenue growth for a diverse range of brands.

What you'll do
- Lead the paid social strategy for a selection of rapidly growing U.S. brands, ensuring that media expenditures align with creative initiatives and business objectives.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Chief Marketing Officers and senior marketing executives, conducting quarterly business reviews and projecting growth opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director to establish team objectives and key results (OKRs), oversee resource management, and define service delivery standards.
- Create and implement annual and quarterly media strategies, which encompass channel selection, budget distribution, and audience targeting.
- Oversee campaign architecture and optimization for a range of 8 to 15 accounts, managing monthly budgets that range from $500,000 to over $5 million.
- Enhance performance across various platforms including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Axon, and Connected TV (CTV) by applying direct response marketing principles.
- Implement key performance indicator (KPI) frameworks such as Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), incremental Return on Ad Spend (iROAS), new Customer Acquisition Cost (nCAC), Marketing Efficiency Ratio (MER), average Marketing Efficiency Ratio (aMER), Click-Through Rate (CTR), Total Spend Ratio (TSR), and Hold Rate.
- Collaborate with the Analytics team to rigorously evaluate attribution models and ensure the accuracy of data.
- Direct the creative strategy, providing guidance to internal teams on constructing engaging hooks, messaging, and selecting appropriate formats.
- Mentor and develop a team of Paid Social Managers and Specialists, creating growth plans to enhance their skills and performance.
- Set internal quality benchmarks for deliverables and act as the final escalation point for any performance-related issues.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in paid media, with at least 7 years dedicated to Paid Social and Meta platforms.
- Over 7 years of experience managing paid social campaigns for high-growth consumer brands, with total monthly spends exceeding $1 million.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and nurture a team of at least 3 marketing professionals.
- Proven success in scaling Meta advertising accounts beyond $1 million per month while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Proficient in using Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and Pinterest advertising platforms.
- Strong grasp of e-commerce profit and loss statements and key financial performance indicators.
- Capacity to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior management.

- Experience with additional platforms such as Snapchat or Twitter for paid social campaigns.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics tools and methodologies for performance tracking.
- Background in working with diverse industries, including retail, technology, and consumer goods.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in digital marketing and social media advertising.
