Technical Revenue Manager

About the role

You manage technical revenue for the Cribl telemetry platform while partnering with engineering and operations teams to enable fast, reliable investigations. You support platform engineering and site reliability engineering teams by providing telemetry as a shared service and guiding data strategy and tiering. You drive SOC modernization and SIEM migration initiatives, control costs, enable cloud migration, and deliver NetOps observability while helping achieve DORA compliance.

What you'll do

• Own the technical revenue strategy for the Cribl telemetry platform, translating business objectives into actionable plans for platform engineering, SREs, and customers.
• Enable accelerated, 10x investigations by designing and maintaining telemetry workflows, ensuring routing, enrichment, and transformation meet scale and reliability requirements.
• Provide telemetry as a shared service across Splunk, Elastic, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto Networks NGFW, Exabeam, and extended platforms such as Hivemind and V-BAT, coordinating integrations and interactive demos.
• Support data strategy and tiering through Cribl Stream, Cribl Edge, Cribl Search, and Cribl Lake, while guiding cloud migration on Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services.
• Drive SOC modernization and support SIEM migration by partnering with Deloitte and technology partners such as Wiz to streamline observability and security workflows.
• Control costs and enable cloud migration by optimizing telemetry pipelines, storage, and replay mechanisms in Cribl.Cloud while maintaining reliable delivery.
• Deliver NetOps observability and visualize telemetry using Cribl capabilities, ensuring transformations, redaction of sensitive data, and storage meet compliance and operational needs.
• Conduct interactive demos and build integrations that align with customer use cases, routing and enriching telemetry to support replay, collection, and onboarding activities.
• Investigate and reduce issues across the telemetry lifecycle, applying risk assessments to changes in data routing, tiering, and integration touchpoints.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to onboard them onto Cribl platforms, incorporating feedback into data strategy, tiering, and roadmap decisions.

• Support platform engineering and site reliability engineering teams by enabling investigations and providing telemetry as a shared service.
• Drive SOC modernization initiatives and support security information and event management migration efforts.
• Control operational costs while enabling cloud migration across major public cloud providers.
• Deliver NetOps observability and contribute to achieving DORA compliance through telemetry strategy.
• Conduct interactive demonstrations and build technical integrations with security and observability platforms.
• Route and enrich telemetry across Cribl Stream, Cribl Edge, and connected data platforms.
• Investigate incidents, reduce telemetry-related issues, and apply risk assessments to changes in data handling.
• Transform, store, and replay telemetry while ensuring sensitive data is redacted in accordance with compliance requirements.
• Onboard customers onto Cribl platforms and guide data tiering decisions based on usage and value.

Nice to have

• Preferred experience with major cloud providers, SIEM platforms, and security tooling such as Splunk, Elastic, Crowdstrike, Palo Alto Networks NGFW, Exabeam, and Deloitte.
• Familiarity with observability and security workflows, including platforms like Wiz, Hivemind, V-BAT, Confluent, and related ecosystems.
• Understanding of data strategy, tiering, and cost optimization for high-volume telemetry environments.
• Experience supporting SOC modernization and SIEM migration initiatives in enterprise settings.
• Comfort with interactive demos, integrations, and customer onboarding in a technical sales engineering context.
