Revenue Strategy & Planning, Sr. Analyst
Job description
About the role
Sr. Analyst, Revenue Strategy and Planning
Cribl is establishing the foundational systems for the AI era by providing telemetry infrastructure to leading enterprises. The company partners with IT and Security teams, serving half of the Fortune 100, to bridge the gap between AI ambition and infrastructure reality. As the AI Platform for Telemetry, Cribl provides choice, control, and flexibility for managing and analyzing telemetry for both humans and agents. The company is recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies and operates as a remote-first organization grounded in the belief that software is a people business. This is a role for a curious, collaborative individual who will do their best work and grow quickly within the herd.
The Sr. Analyst of Revenue Strategy and Planning is a key contributor driving the next phase of Cribl's growth. This position owns the analysis, strategy development, and execution programs that improve revenue productivity and increase business predictability. The role operates as a force multiplier within a high-growth environment, with responsibilities scaling directly with impact. Success in this position will be defined by the ability to transform complex operational data into clear strategic guidance for the business.
Key Responsibilities
You will optimize the performance of the Go-To-Market (GTM) engine by defining KPIs, measuring performance, and analyzing data to identify trends, gaps, and root causes. This analytical work directly informs how the business allocates resources and prioritizes initiatives. You will refine headcount and capacity planning by modeling current and future needs across all GTM functions, ensuring the business has the necessary capacity to achieve growth targets.
Supporting strategic planning is a core function, requiring collaboration with GTM leaders and cross-functional partners on both annual and long-range planning cycles. You will use AI to optimize GTM operations, applying tools and workflows to automate analysis, surface insights faster, and improve the efficiency of planning and forecasting processes. The role involves surfacing insights to improve decision-making by designing and maintaining key dashboards and reports that track performance against plan.
Improving data quality is another critical duty, involving the identification and driving of improvements to revenue data workflows. You will ensure data integrity and reliability, which are essential for sound strategic decisions. This function requires close partnership with technology teams to align data contracts, enabling reliable pipelines that support future opportunity and scale.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate brings 2-5 years of experience in shaping GTM strategy, revenue operations, or sales finance, ideally within high-growth, fast-paced SaaS or enterprise B2B environments. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills are required to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives. You must be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a bias for action and strong follow-through on multiple priorities in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Building trust and influencing cross-functionally, including with senior GTM leaders, is essential for success in this role. You possess advanced modeling skills, demonstrating fluency in building and scaling dynamic models on large datasets. A strong grasp of SaaS unit economics and how to scale efficiently is necessary. Hands-on experience with Salesforce and BI tools, such as Omni, is required to execute on the responsibilities of this position.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this role is dependent upon geographic location and will be based on the individual candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, for sales and some sales-adjacent roles, employees are eligible to earn incentive compensation (commission). For all other roles, employees are eligible to participate in the Cribl Corporate Bonus Program.
In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, a 401(k), and equity.
