Bamboohr is seeking a dedicated IMS / EVMS Surveillance Specialist to join our team in Mobile, Alabama. What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive surveillance of IMS and EVMS processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze project performance data, identifying trends and variances to provide actionable insights for project managers and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain surveillance plans, ensuring they align with project objectives and organizational goals.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to facilitate the integration of IMS and EVMS practices into project planning and execution.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing surveillance findings, recommendations, and best practices for continuous improvement.
- Lead training sessions and workshops to educate team members on IMS and EVMS principles, fostering a culture of compliance and accountability.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring that all aspects of project performance are tracked and reported accurately.
- Act as a liaison between project teams and senior management, communicating any issues or risks that may impact project success.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of IMS and EVMS processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and methodologies related to IMS and EVMS, integrating new practices as appropriate.
- Support the development of project management documentation, including risk management plans, performance baselines, and change control processes.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive initiatives aimed at enhancing project delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IMS and EVMS.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing IMS and EVMS processes in a project environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools, including Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations related to IMS and EVMS.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar credentials.
- Experience in the defense or aerospace industry, particularly with government contracts.
