What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of current healthcare practices to identify gaps in quality and performance.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives that align with best practices and regulatory standards.
- Analyze healthcare data to track performance metrics and identify trends that inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for healthcare staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance.
- Develop and maintain quality improvement documentation, including reports, presentations, and proposals for stakeholders.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to design and implement evidence-based protocols and workflows that enhance patient care.
- Monitor the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives through regular evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on quality improvement methodologies, providing guidance and support to teams across the organization.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, nursing, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality improvement, healthcare management, or a related area.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Proven experience in project management, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Familiarity with quality improvement frameworks, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices related to quality improvement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Certification in quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt).
