What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of current healthcare practices to identify gaps in quality and performance.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives that align with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Analyze healthcare data to track performance metrics and identify trends that inform decision-making and strategic planning.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for healthcare staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance.
• Develop and maintain quality improvement documentation, including reports, presentations, and proposals for stakeholders.
• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to design and implement evidence-based protocols and workflows that enhance patient care.
• Monitor the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives through regular evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on quality improvement methodologies, providing guidance and support to teams across the organization.
• Engage with external partners and stakeholders to share best practices and collaborate on quality improvement projects.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging practices in quality improvement to ensure Bamboohr remains at the forefront of healthcare innovation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss quality improvement progress and share insights with leadership.
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans that prioritize quality improvement initiatives and align with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, nursing, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality improvement, healthcare management, or a related area.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
• Proven experience in project management, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
• Familiarity with quality improvement frameworks, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices related to quality improvement.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Certification in quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt).
• Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in roles focused on quality improvement or patient safety.
