About the role
This role designs and delivers enterprise solutions for global customers using Conga products. The architect leads technical design and supports Professional Services delivery for the Quote-to-Cash suite. They translate complex business challenges into scalable, reliable technology solutions while ensuring alignment with Conga product strategy. The position requires deep expertise in enterprise architecture to guide implementation decisions and influence technical direction. Success in this role hinges on the ability to bridge gaps between business needs and technical execution. The architect acts as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams throughout the delivery lifecycle. They are responsible for maintaining architectural integrity while enabling rapid, high-quality solution delivery. This role demands ownership of end-to-end solution design from conception to deployment.

What you'll do
Design architecture roadmaps and define solution designs for the Quote-to-Cash suite, including CPQ, contract management, revenue management, and related capabilities.
Integrate Conga products and build proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and development tasks to meet project and business requirements.
Manage integration design and ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, and quality standards for enterprise customers.
Write architecture documents and detailed design artifacts to guide implementation teams and support delivery of consistent buyer experiences.
Provide hands-on expert assistance to developers during testing and implementation to ensure reliable, quality solutions for customers.
Support pre-sales activities, including solution discussions and articulating trade-offs to set expectations with clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with global teams to coordinate delivery across regions and time zones as part of Professional Services.
Represent expertise in CPQ and/or Contract Management throughout the delivery lifecycle and advocate for trusted decisions.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications that drive successful implementation outcomes.
Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their applicability to Conga solution architectures and client needs.
Lead technical discussions with stakeholders to validate assumptions and refine solution approaches early in the project lifecycle.
Mentor junior architects and developers on best practices for solution design, coding standards, and architectural governance.
Ensure all technical deliverables adhere to Conga architectural frameworks, security guidelines, and compliance requirements.
Continuously seek process improvements to enhance solution quality, delivery speed, and team collaboration.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Understand business requirements regarding product management and develop solution enhancements using Salesforce or .NET platform (APEX, Visual Force, C#, Angular / React JS or equivalent front-end technologies).
Practice thorough unit testing with a high level of code coverage to ensure solution quality.
Demonstrate experience working as part of an Agile development team and executing automated deployment process.
Engage directly with clients and end-users to analyze project objectives, capability requirements, and interface specifications for customized applications.
Drive deep-level technical discussions with prospects and help set expectations for potential project efforts and implementation scope.
Manage the technical scope of client expectations while balancing delivery constraints and configuration options.
Use Atlassian Suite tools in daily work and obtain Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications or a Microsoft Solutions Developer (MCSD) / Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
Understand the software as a service industry to accelerate onboarding and impact while supporting consistent buyer experiences.
Demonstrate strong experience with Conga products, particularly in CPQ and Contract Management domains.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Show proven ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team across multiple time zones.
Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in emerging technologies and industry trends.

Ahmedabad.
The position reports to the Director of Professional Services.
The role involves client interaction, global team collaboration, and possible travel as required.
