About the role

This entry-level position is centered around the daily administration of cloud identity and access services within the Security Enablement, Applications, and Services team. As an Associate in this role, you will be instrumental in managing identity lifecycles, overseeing access governance, and supporting security operations across a multi-cloud environment. This foundational position is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge for future advancement within Cloud Operations.

What you'll do

• Oversee the processes of user provisioning, modifications, and offboarding across various cloud platforms and Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID, including tasks related to group memberships, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access policies.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and assist in conducting periodic entitlement certifications to ensure compliance and security.
• Monitor and manage non-human identities, such as service principals and managed identities, to maintain security integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve authentication issues while managing operational security queues effectively.
• Maintain compliance documentation and evidence for regulatory standards such as SOX, ISO 27001, as well as internal audits.
• Develop and implement automation scripts aimed at enhancing the efficiency of identity management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of identity services within the organization.
• Participate in security incident response activities and assist in the preparation of access reviews.
• Provide support in the evaluation and implementation of new identity management tools and technologies.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cloud identity management.
• Contribute to the development of training materials and documentation for internal processes and procedures.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• A solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Active Directory, RBAC, MFA, Single Sign-On (SSO), and the fundamentals of cloud computing.
• Familiarity with Windows administration and experience with ticketing systems is essential.
• Availability to work a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with US-based security teams for effective incident handoffs and access reviews.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with major cloud environments and their native identity tools would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and concepts related to non-human identities is a plus.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and improve workflows.
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts and security operations would be advantageous.
• Previous internship or project experience in a related field can enhance your application.
