Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Conga provides commercial operations software to over 10,000 global customers, helping businesses manage pricing, contracts, and revenue processes. This role focuses on building and refining machine learning models to improve production performance and scalability. You will lead technical initiatives while collaborating across teams to integrate AI solutions into our commercial platforms.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design and implement machine learning solutions with a focus on production efficiency and scalability.
• Manage the full model lifecycle including data processing, feature engineering, training, and deployment.
• Work with engineering teams to integrate modules, upgrade platforms, and improve automated testing.
• Create technical documentation to support ongoing development and future system enhancements.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain quality standards and provide technical training to Sales, Implementation, and Support departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in data science, software development, or data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, XgBoost, Scikit-learn, and Spark ML.
• Experience with Git and MLFlow for model and code versioning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and Databricks.
• Knowledge of distributed computing, data versioning, pipeline orchestration, and advanced AI models like Neural Networks.
• Ability to perform software testing, benchmarking, and CI/CD practices.

Nice to have

• Certifications in Natural Language Processing, Recommender Systems, or Azure AI Engineer.
• Practical experience applying AI tools to automate tasks and improve decision-making processes.
• Understanding of ethical AI usage and responsible development practices.
