Codes-health is on the lookout for its inaugural People Operations professional to spearhead the development and expansion of its human resources function. This position will involve creating essential people programs and processes from scratch, thereby significantly impacting the company's culture and operational effectiveness. What you'll do
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, ensuring a experience from onboarding to offboarding for all staff members.
- Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations, addressing sensitive workplace issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Manage all aspects of People operations, including the creation and maintenance of company policies, the Employee Handbook, and assistance with visa applications.
- Partner with the CEO to design organizational structures and strategies that support the company's growth trajectory.
- Lead recruitment efforts and build a dedicated People team as the organization continues to expand.
- Develop and implement training programs that foster employee development and engagement.
- Analyze employee feedback and metrics to drive improvements in workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, keeping the company informed of any changes that may impact operations.
- Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting and performance reviews, to enhance team productivity.
- Create and manage initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
- Design and implement employee recognition programs that celebrate achievements and foster a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in human resources, People Operations, or talent management is essential.
- Proven track record of establishing or scaling HR functions in dynamic, high-growth settings.
- In-depth understanding of HR principles and best practices is required.
- A proactive approach to building new systems and processes that improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Exceptional judgment and the ability to cultivate trust among employees and leadership alike.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on direct and effective solutions.
- Excellent program management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be willing to work on-site in New York City five days a week to foster team collaboration and engagement.
