About the role
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our team on-site in Dumbo, Brooklyn, to support the deployment and integration of our healthcare data retrieval platform. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical contact for our largest customers, guiding them through the implementation process from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include translating customer needs into technical solutions, troubleshooting integration issues, and ensuring successful adoption of our platform within their workflows. You will collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and customer success teams to deliver seamless solutions that meet customer requirements and foster long-term relationships.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Partner directly with our largest customers throughout the implementation process, acting as the main technical point of contact from initial kickoff through full deployment.
- Help customers integrate our platform into their existing workflows, understanding their technical environment, constraints, and requirements to develop tailored deployment strategies.
- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks that could hinder full organizational adoption, working proactively to remove obstacles and ensure a smooth rollout.
- Own the final 20% of enterprise implementations, managing complex deployment stages that determine whether a customer scales from a six-figure to a seven-figure contract.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to unblock implementation challenges, align on customer success metrics, and ensure seamless communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic accounts, influencing retention and expansion efforts through technical support and strategic guidance.
- Assist in troubleshooting integration issues directly with customer engineers, providing technical expertise to resolve problems efficiently.
- Work on a variety of tasks, including deploying customer-facing products, managing pipelines, and supporting sales efforts, moving fluidly between responsibilities based on shifting priorities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment processes, technical documentation, and best practices to streamline future implementations.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous, high-stakes environments without a strict playbook, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Stay close to customer feedback and data to inform product improvements and deployment strategies.
- Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions to share insights, challenges, and successes related to customer implementations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our platform's technical capabilities and limitations to effectively communicate solutions to customers.
- Support onboarding and training efforts for new customers to ensure they are equipped to maximize the value of our platform.
- Engage with customer success teams to identify opportunities for upselling or expanding existing contracts based on technical needs.
- Contribute to the development of technical resources, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides to assist both customers and internal teams.
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions, ensuring a positive experience that fosters trust and long-term relationships.
Requirements
- Genuine enthusiasm for working directly with customers, understanding their technical challenges, and providing effective solutions.
- Strong technical skills to troubleshoot and debug integration issues, working directly with customer engineers.
- Experience in solutions engineering, technical account management, or SaaS implementation, preferably in enterprise environments.
- Ability to operate independently in complex, ambiguous, and high-stakes projects without a strict playbook.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage enterprise software deployments from initial setup to full adoption.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to coordinate efforts across engineering, sales, and customer success teams.
- Comfortable working on-site in Dumbo, Brooklyn, and engaging with customers in person.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
- Technical proficiency to understand and troubleshoot integrations involving healthcare data, workflows, or related technical domains.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments is a plus.

- The position offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $200,000, depending on experience.
