What you'll do
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and quality control protocols for design projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of design processes, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with established quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with design teams to review project specifications and requirements, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards before submission.
- Create detailed documentation of quality control processes, including reports on findings, corrective actions, and recommendations for future projects.
- Facilitate training sessions for team members on quality assurance practices and tools, promoting a culture of quality within the organization.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to address any quality-related issues that arise during the design phase, providing expert guidance and support.

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies, integrating new techniques into existing processes as appropriate.

- Assist in the development of quality assurance policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Provide feedback and recommendations for design improvements based on quality assessments, fostering continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the design or engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies, including ISO standards.
- Proficiency in quality assurance tools and software, such as statistical analysis software and project management applications.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify potential quality issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting audits and inspections, with a track record of implementing effective corrective actions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Certification in Quality Management or Quality Assurance, such as ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar credentials.
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Experience in a leadership role, mentoring junior team members in quality assurance practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to the design and engineering industry.
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
