Bamboohr is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to join their growing team in Seattle, Washington. This full-time position is central to the planning and coordination of complex, multi-phase projects across the organization. The role focuses on building, maintaining, and communicating detailed project timelines that keep all stakeholders aligned on deliverables and milestones. The Senior Project Scheduler will work hand in hand with project managers, department leads, and executive stakeholders to ensure that every phase of each project stays on schedule. This individual will take ownership of scheduling frameworks, drive continuous improvements to planning processes, and serve as a trusted advisor on timeline-related decisions.

What you'll do
Develop and maintain master project schedules that reflect all phase milestones and deliverables across the portfolio.
Coordinate with project leads to define task dependencies, critical paths, and resource loading for each initiative.
Update and track schedule baselines, recording actual progress and flagging deviations from planned timelines.
Generate weekly and monthly schedule reports that summarize status, risks, and upcoming deadlines for stakeholders.
Facilitate schedule review meetings, presenting timeline data and recommending adjustments to keep projects on track.
Build and refine scheduling templates and standardized workflows to improve consistency across all project teams.
Monitor resource availability and capacity, flagging conflicts or shortages that could impact delivery dates.
Integrate schedule data from multiple workstreams into a unified view for executive reporting purposes.
Support the identification of schedule risks early, proposing mitigation strategies to project leadership.
Maintain documentation of scheduling assumptions, constraints, and change logs for audit and reference purposes.
Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align project timelines with budget cycles and operational capacity.
Oversee the scheduling of external vendors and contractors, ensuring their milestones are integrated into the master plan.
Requirements
Proven experience managing complex project schedules in a professional services or construction environment.
Strong understanding of scheduling methodologies including critical path method and precedence diagramming techniques.
Proficiency with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is expected of candidates.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting schedule data to diverse audiences clearly.
Ability to analyze large sets of task data and identify trends, bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts.
Attention to detail and a disciplined approach to maintaining accurate, up-to-date schedule records at all times.
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in project scheduling or a closely related discipline.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to establish shared timelines and interdependencies across departments.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines consistently.
