We are seeking a Business Development Manager to play a critical role in extending our technological reach across the digital fashion landscape. This position requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex simulation capabilities into actionable plans for diverse industries and market segments. You will own the entire client journey, from the first exploratory conversation through to the final contract execution and successful implementation. Your work in analyzing market expansion will directly influence how partners integrate virtual garment creation and prototyping into their existing operations. This role is instrumental in driving adoption across a spectrum of related sectors, including costume design and content creation. You will serve as the primary liaison between our innovative technology suite and industry-specific applications, ensuring value is clearly communicated. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between technical possibility and commercial reality for our 3D ecosystem.

What you'll do
Translate complex 3D simulation capabilities into compelling value propositions for decision-makers in the fashion and lifestyle sectors.
Lead the implementation phase of the client lifecycle, ensuring partners successfully utilize the CLO software suite and realize immediate operational value.
Develop and deliver presentations that articulate the benefits of virtual prototyping, digital workflows, and 3D garment simulation to key stakeholders.
Analyze performance data and user adoption metrics to identify new growth opportunities and refine go-to-market strategies for accessory-focused and content-creation clients.
Manage the digital-physical integration process, establishing protocols for linking tangible samples with their digital counterparts within proprietary systems.
Foster relationships with specialized costume content platforms and connected software ecosystems to enhance overall workflow efficiency and user experience.
Collaborate closely with the internal Design & Implementation Team to orchestrate training, onboarding programs, and configuration support for new partners.
Oversee the entire partner lifecycle, guiding each account through intake, configuration, validation, deployment, and long-term success.
Conduct market research to identify expansion opportunities and validate the demand for virtual fashion solutions in adjacent industries.
Prepare detailed proposals and business cases that outline the return on investment and strategic advantages of adopting CLO Virtual Fashion technology.
Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, project progress, and technical requirements to ensure a seamless experience from initial contact to deployment.
Ensure presentation materials and technical documentation accurately reflect the capabilities and benefits of 3D simulation for all target markets.
Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to provide insights that inform strategic business development initiatives and product positioning.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on best practices for digital fashion, virtual sampling, and integrated content creation workflows.
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in business development spanning three to five years in relevant technology or creative industries.
You possess the ability to clearly articulate our company vision, product roadmap, and technical differentiators to stakeholders across the fashion and lifestyle sectors.
Your experience must include apparel, accessories, and related product categories, with a demonstrated understanding of the design-to-production workflow.
You excel in collaborative environments, working seamlessly with technical teams, creative departments, and executive leadership to drive initiatives forward.
Your analytical mindset allows you to interpret complex client metrics, user data, and adoption rates, translating them into strategic expansion plans.
You demonstrate mastery in managing end-to-end project workflows, maintaining exceptional organization, and consistently meeting strict deadlines.
You have a history of building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term engagement.
You are comfortable operating within a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment where priorities may shift rapidly based on market opportunities.

Compensation is listed as $130,000 USD per year for the full-time position based in Los Angeles, California.
