Backend Developer (C#)
Job description
About the role
Position: Backend Developer (C#)
Company Introduction
CLO Virtual Fashion operates on the principle that digital fashion should be as tangible and versatile as physical garments. Established in 2009, the company builds the infrastructure for a new fashion ecosystem, utilizing 3D simulation algorithms to cover everything from initial concept and design through to manufacturing, marketing, fitting, and styling. The organization develops and manages core platforms such as CLO-SET and CONNECT, which are dedicated to managing clothing content. These platforms work in concert with design software like CLO, Marvelous Designer, and Jinny. A core innovation involves tagging both physical and digital garments, allowing them to function together seamlessly within the CLO system. This integration supports efficient and sustainable workflows. The company is a leading force in the global digital fashion market, with offices in 13 countries across Asia, North America, Europe, and South America, serving a wide base of international clients.
Position Overview
The company is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join its team. The primary focus of this role is the development and management of backend services for the CLO-SET and CONNECT platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing high-level backend architectures and ensuring the stability and scalability of these services. You will engage directly with the complexities of connecting digital simulation data with real-world production workflows. This involves creating robust search index pipelines, integrating disparate systems, and orchestrating data flows between frontend user interfaces and backend logic. The position requires ownership of processing workers that handle resource-intensive simulation and export tasks. Collaboration with analytics teams is essential to refine tracking and reporting capabilities. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with design teams, ensuring that virtual fitting tools align with the company's product vision and strategy, ultimately contributing to the creation of a complete and high-quality global platform service.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecting and implementing scalable API structures that bridge simulation data and production environments.
- Developing and maintaining backend API servers and associated worker services to ensure platform stability.
- Building search index pipelines capable of handling large datasets while maintaining fast query response times.
- Integrating digital garment systems with physical design processes to ensure data consistency and workflow efficiency.
- Orchestrating reliable data flows between frontend interfaces and backend services.
- Implementing and managing processing workers for intensive simulation, export, and other backend tasks.
- Collaborating with analytics teams to improve tracking, reporting, and insights for fashion-specific workflows.
- Iteratively shipping new features while adhering to strict performance and uptime standards.
- Partnering with design and production teams to ensure virtual fitting tools meet evolving product requirements.
Hiring Process
The selection process consists of the following stages: Document Review → Assignment Test → First Interview → Second Interview (including Reference Check) → Compensation Discussion → Final Confirmation. Candidates are encouraged to detail their professional history, responsibilities, and personal growth during the application phase. Specific instructions for the assignment test and interview schedules will be communicated via email.
