Growth Account Executive
Job description
About the role
At ClickUp, we are building the future of work: the first truly converged AI workspace that unifies tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, all supercharged by context-driven AI. We are an AI-native company where every team member is expected to leverage AI daily, and AI fluency is evaluated as part of our hiring process. This role is positioned at the intersection of sales, product, and AI, requiring you to understand, demonstrate, and sell the value of intelligent features that accelerate buyer productivity. You will act as the primary advocate for customers, ensuring they see tangible value from the solution. This is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
What you'll do
You will own the end-to-end sales cycle for growth-stage companies, driving net new business from first contact through closed won. This includes conducting discovery calls with executive and operational stakeholders to uncover workflow pain points and quantify value. You will build a compelling commercial narrative that connects ClickUp's converged workspace to measurable productivity gains, and design and deliver virtual product demonstrations that clearly articulate feature adoption paths and ROI for mid-size and large enterprises.
You will own the full sales funnel, converting free trials, marketing-qualified leads, and demo requests into expansion and new paid contracts, while responding to Requests for Information and Requests for Quotes with precise, solution-oriented content that supports rapid decision-making. You will collaborate with Growth and Marketing teams to refine lead scoring, messaging, and conversion tools based on field feedback, and analyze customer segments to identify high-potential verticals and prioritize accounts that strengthen pipeline quality.
Using CRM tools, you will maintain up-to-date pipeline records to ensure transparency for cross-functional stakeholders, establishing rapport through consultative questioning and positioning ClickUp as an enabler of strategic operational excellence. You will represent the company in virtual and in-person settings, reinforcing a customer-first mindset that reduces reliance on aggressive tactics and aligns with our belief that the product is the best reason to convert.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must bring 2-4 years of relevant sales experience across new business acquisition and account growth initiatives, including 2-4 years of SaaS sales cycle experience with enterprise productivity solutions. You should demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in professional customer interactions, and operate in a process-driven environment with meticulous attention to detail and accurate pipeline management.
You must have direct experience completing and leading Requests for Information and Requests for Quotes for complex deals, and commit to working from the Dublin, Ireland office 3 days per week as part of the hybrid arrangement. This role requires adherence to ethical sales practices that focus on product value rather than high-pressure or annoying tactics, along with the ability to thrive as a self-starter who balances independent execution with cross-functional collaboration. You will maintain a high degree of personal accountability for communication, forecasting, and follow-through, and approach customer conversations with curiosity, confidence, and a consistently positive demeanor.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with project management software or other productivity tools that align with the ClickUp ecosystem is desirable, as is background in e-commerce signup flows and field sales within fast-growth technology environments. Familiarity with Slack, Front, Salesforce, and Outreach platforms used in modern revenue operations, along with some exposure to Customer Service and Technical Support processes including timely response handling, will be advantageous. A natural preference for building long-term customer rapport over aggressive, transactional selling approaches aligns with our culture of trust and value-based selling.
Practical notes
This role requires availability to work from the Dublin office 3 days per week. No specific working hours are outlined, but the position is full-time and involves synchronous collaboration with global teams. There is no visa sponsorship available for this role at the current time, as sponsorship is currently limited to engineering and product positions. Candidates should apply through official ClickUp career channels and avoid engaging with unsolicited offers or payment requests.
