What you'll do

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze their financial requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of their business processes.
• Design and implement SAP FI-CO solutions that meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct system configuration for FI and CO modules, tailoring the SAP environment to optimize financial reporting and controlling functionalities.
• Lead workshops and training sessions for clients, educating them on the effective use of SAP FI-CO modules and best practices in financial management.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FI-CO issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and business analysts, to ensure integration of financial processes with other SAP modules.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and support.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP FI-CO developments and industry trends, proactively recommending enhancements and upgrades to clients.
• Assist in the preparation of project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Participate in the testing and validation of SAP FI-CO solutions, ensuring that all functionalities meet the specified requirements before go-live.
• Mentor junior consultants and team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for process enhancement and efficiency gains within the SAP landscape.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FI-CO consulting, with a proven track record of successful implementations and optimizations.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices, as well as controlling processes within a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in SAP FI and CO modules, including configuration, integration, and reporting functionalities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in leading workshops and training sessions, demonstrating the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A relevant degree in finance, accounting, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
• SAP certification in FI and CO modules is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with additional SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management) or SD (Sales and Distribution) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its financial capabilities would be beneficial.
• Previous experience in a consulting environment, particularly with a focus on financial services or manufacturing sectors.
• Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques within SAP environments.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to financial reporting and accounting practices.
