What you'll do

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard tools, ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and user needs, ensuring alignment in quality objectives.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to validate software functionality and performance under various conditions.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage, utilizing modern testing frameworks and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of software design.
• Mentor junior QA team members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of quality within the team.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance team capabilities.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure quality is prioritized throughout the development process.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring deployment and release processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques and a solid understanding of automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Understanding of security testing principles and tools.
• Previous experience in a consulting role or working with clients directly.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
