What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain Python applications that integrate seamlessly with SAP CPQ systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and optimize algorithms for pricing, quoting, and configuration processes within the SAP CPQ framework.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to existing applications and provide ongoing support to users.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Python development and SAP CPQ solutions, and apply this knowledge to improve our products.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance system performance.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Python development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proven experience with SAP CPQ solutions, including configuration, pricing, and quoting processes.
• Familiarity with web frameworks such as Django or Flask for building scalable applications.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating third-party services.
• Proficient in database management systems, preferably PostgreSQL or MySQL, with experience in writing complex queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize code effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, for managing code repositories.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying applications.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for full-stack development.
• Knowledge of Agile project management tools like Jira or Trello.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Certification in SAP CPQ or related technologies would be an advantage.
