What you'll do

Design, develop, and implement Python applications that meet the needs of our clients and enhance user experience.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in software development.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and optimize performance.
Integrate third-party APIs and services to expand the functionality of our applications.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes.
Assist in the deployment of applications and monitor their performance in production environments.
Work closely with QA engineers to ensure thorough testing and validation of applications before release.
Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards.
Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to foster a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Python development, with a strong understanding of web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Proficiency in working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to facilitate collaboration with front-end developers.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, for managing code repositories and collaborating with team members.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating them into applications.
Knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with colleagues.

Nice to have

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying and managing applications.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker to streamline development and deployment processes.
Knowledge of testing frameworks such as PyTest or UnitTest to ensure code reliability.
Experience with CI/CD tools to automate the deployment pipeline and improve development efficiency.
Understanding of data visualization libraries and tools to enhance reporting capabilities within applications.
