About the role

You will own the design and oversight of applied behavior analysis services for assigned clients within the Monroe community, ensuring that each intervention plan reflects the highest standards of ethical practice and clinical excellence. You will serve as the primary clinical leader for therapy teams, providing direct supervision, performance feedback, and ongoing coaching to therapists to ensure consistent and high-quality implementation of behavior plans. You will collaborate closely with families, educators, and other professionals to integrate behavioral strategies into the child's natural environments, promoting generalization and long-term success. You will analyze complex behavioral data, interpret trends, and adjust intervention protocols in real time to drive meaningful progress toward individualized goals. You will lead functional behavior assessments, synthesize findings, and author clear, actionable treatment recommendations that guide the entire therapeutic team. You will act as an ambassador for Circle Care Services, building trust with clients and stakeholders by demonstrating expertise, reliability, and compassionate communication. You will champion a culture of continuous learning, staying current with best practices in ABA and sharing innovative techniques and resources with your colleagues. You will manage scheduling, coverage, and documentation requirements to ensure that services are delivered efficiently, legally, and in full compliance with board standards and organizational policies.

What you'll do

Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments to identify the antecedents and maintaining variables of challenging behaviors.

Design, implement, and supervise individualized behavior intervention plans that align with best practices in applied behavior analysis.

Analyze graphical and numerical data trends to evaluate intervention effectiveness and modify programs based on empirical evidence.

Lead and instruct therapy teams through modeling, role play, and structured feedback sessions to build staff competency and confidence.

Develop and deliver parent training and caregiver coaching to ensure consistent implementation of behavior strategies across home and community settings.

Perform direct observation in naturalistic settings such as home, school, or daycare to gather accurate and ecologically valid data on client performance.

Create and update detailed session notes, progress reports, and clinical documentation that meet regulatory, billing, and quality standards.

Coordinate with educators, medical professionals, and other service providers to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and goal alignment.

Monitor client progress on an ongoing basis and adjust teaching plans, reinforcement systems, and prompt strategies to maximize independence and skill acquisition.

Implement evidence-based teaching methodologies, including discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and task analysis, tailored to each learner's needs.

Establish and maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic records in compliance with HIPAA, organizational policies, and applicable laws.

Support the onboarding and initial training of new therapists, ensuring they understand protocols, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, internal audits, and case reviews to uphold the integrity and effectiveness of the service model.

Serve as a point of contact for crisis consultation, providing immediate guidance and support to families and team members when behavioral challenges escalate.

Requirements

Hold active BCBA certification and current state licensure as a behavior analyst or equivalent credential.

Possess 2 to 4 years of direct experience delivering ABA instruction and supervising therapy teams in applied settings.

Demonstrate strong, in-depth knowledge of ABA techniques, experimental design, and data graphing procedures used to track learner progress.

Show proven ability to lead, instruct, and motivate therapists through clear communication, structured feedback, and professional presence.

Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and documentation requirements.

Maintain strict adherence to ethical codes, confidentiality agreements, and professional standards governing the delivery of behavior analytic services.

Display cultural competence and sensitivity when working with diverse families, school personnel, and community partners in varied environments.
