The Institutional Client Associate, APAC Sales will operate at the intersection of investor relations and strategic client engagement within the Asia Pacific region. What you'll do
- Orchestrate the intake and analysis of investor requirements, transforming raw data into structured insights that inform bespoke investment proposals.
- Architect and deliver sophisticated presentation frameworks that distill complex alternative asset strategies into clear, actionable narratives for institutional decision committees.
- Engineer and oversee structured review checkpoints that align internal stakeholders and refine investment narratives based on real-time feedback and performance metrics.
- Curate and deploy immaculate roadshow materials, ensuring strict adherence to global branding guidelines, regulatory compliance, and rigidly enforced deadlines.
- Facilitate rigorous practice sessions for client visits, simulating high-pressure interrogations to refine messaging, bolster confidence, and preempt difficult inquiries.
- Liaise seamlessly with research and analytics teams to synchronize data sets, verify factual accuracy, and maintain a single source of truth across all client-facing deliverables.
- Implement and manage a robust version control system for all presentation and analytical documents, guaranteeing that stakeholders access only the most current and validated information.
- Dynamically update pipeline tracking systems to reflect evolving investor sentiment, new commitments, and shifting strategic priorities across the APAC landscape.
- Coordinate the logistical and operational aspects of hosting high-profile client visits to the United States, managing details that enhance the overall experience.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends, providing concise intelligence that informs strategic positioning and client conversations.
- Partner with the Financial Institutions Group to identify cross-selling opportunities and align solutions for major insurance companies and banking institutions.
- Collaborate with Global Consultant Relations to ensure alignment with investment consultants and OCIO providers, reinforcing the firm's value proposition at advisory firms.
- Proactively identify and escalate potential risks or misalignments in client expectations, working with senior team members to develop contingency plans.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of APAC-focused fundraising initiatives, supporting senior members in the development of targeted investor roadshows.
Requirements
- Possess three to five years of cumulative experience in client services, sales operations, or investor relations within the financial services sector.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate using precise, technical language when articulating complex investment strategies to institutional stakeholders.
- Exhibit a proven capacity to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while maintaining unwavering accuracy in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Show competence in coordinating across disparate time zones, demonstrating respect for regional schedules and strict adherence to regulatory expectations.
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience that provides a strong foundation in financial analysis, business, or a related discipline.
- Bring a meticulous attention to detail to every task, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Display strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize large volumes of information into concise, impactful summaries.
