About the role

CI&T is actively searching for a Senior Developer to join our team focused on a SuperApp redesign initiative. The selected professional will concentrate efforts on the modernization of the Android ecosystem while simultaneously integrating Artificial Intelligence agents into the daily development lifecycle. You will own the technical decisions required to evolve the mobile platform and ensure that AI capabilities are implemented robustly and securely. This role demands a proactive approach to solving complex engineering challenges in a fast-paced digital environment. You will be responsible for driving architectural improvements and fostering innovation through code. The position requires a deep understanding of mobile best practices and emerging AI tooling. Your work will directly influence the user experience and the efficiency of the entire development pipeline.

What you'll do

• Architect and implement new features for the SuperApp platform using modern Android paradigms.
• Design and deploy AI agents that automate repetitive tasks and enhance developer productivity.
• Lead the adoption of Spec-Driven Development (SDD) to align business requirements with technical implementation.
• Translate complex product specifications into high-quality, testable Android codebases.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and security standards.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to guarantee the stability and reliability of mobile releases.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and battery usage across diverse Android device configurations.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Utilize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to streamline release cycles.
• Mentor junior developers on best practices for Kotlin, mobile testing, and clean code principles.
• Monitor application stability using analytics and crash reporting tools to drive iterative improvements.
• Liaise with backend teams to define APIs and data contracts for seamless mobile-backend communication.
• Stay current with industry trends, Android framework updates, and advancements in AI agent tooling.
• Contribute to technical documentation that supports the maintenance and onboarding of new team members.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a minimum of six years of professional experience in Android mobile development using Kotlin.
• Possess expert-level knowledge in designing and building AI agents intended for process optimization and automation.
• Show hands-on familiarity with Claude Code, Anthropic Skills, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementations.
• Have concrete experience managing Multi-Repository environments that utilize dependency management tools such as Cocoapods or Swift Package Manager (SPM).
• Exhibit a strong commitment to accessibility by applying WCAG 2.1 AA standards in mobile interface design.
• Hold proven experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud services and infrastructure components.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
• Display the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
• Have a solid understanding of mobile security principles and data protection best practices.
• Show proficiency in debugging complex issues and implementing reliable error-handling strategies.

Nice to have

• Complement frontend mobile skills with Backend development experience using Java to full-stack capabilities.
