[Job-2601] Android Developer, Campinas, Brazil
Job description
[Job-2601] Android Developer, Campinas, Brazil at CI&T.
About the role
CI&T helps large enterprises turn AI into business impact through AI deployment, AI-native delivery, and tech-integrated solutions, with about 8,000 people across more than 25 countries. This Android Developer role supports a major American investment client. You must live in Campinas and work on-site every day in the Campinas office for a stated security reason. Day to day you collaborate with CI&T teammates on financial-sector demands, ship agile releases, fix and enhance the product with cross-functional partners, and keep code quality high through testing and reviews. You will own the full feature lifecycle from discovery through production, translating business intent into robust Android implementations while adhering to strict quality gates. You will partner closely with product, design, and backend colleagues to refine requirements and ensure alignment with client expectations in a fast-paced agile environment. You will act as a quality champion, mentoring peers on best practices around code cleanliness, testing discipline, and architectural consistency. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, sharing insights that elevate the craftsmanship of the Android platform across the team.

Jetpack Compose, Kotlin conventions, and Espresso/JUnit testing are central to how quality is judged. GitHub Actions CI/CD and Git Flow across teams keep releases coordinated with other squads.
Financial-sector clients raise the bar for stability during agile deployments. Nice-to-have Adobe and Appium experience can help on measurement and QA collaboration but does not replace core Android depth.
