This is a 3-5-month contract position.
Position Summary
The Epic Tapestry Contracts Administration Analyst serves as a specialized contributor responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic Tapestry Contracts Administration. This role functions as a critical link between provider contracting, claims, finance, reimbursement, revenue cycle, and health plan operations. The analyst ensures accurate claims adjudication and provider payments by configuring provider contracts, reimbursement methodologies, fee schedules, and pricing logic. The position requires deep subject matter expertise in contract administration workflows and spans the full system development lifecycle from requirements gathering through production support.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Epic Tapestry Contracts Administration functionality, including provider contracts, reimbursement methodologies, fee schedules, payment policies, and pricing models.
Design contract terms for commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and value-based reimbursement arrangements.
Translate complex provider agreements into precise Epic system configurations while safeguarding contractual accuracy.
Partner with Provider Contracting, Claims Operations, Finance, Revenue Cycle, and Business Operations to define requirements and architect solutions that scale.
Configure reimbursement methodologies including fee-for-service, DRG, APC, per diem, capitation, case rates, percentage-of-charge, and custom payment models.
Support contract modeling, pricing validation, and reimbursement testing for new contracts and contract amendments.
Perform unit, integrated, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Validate claims adjudication and payment accuracy prior to production deployment.
Troubleshoot configuration issues that impact provider reimbursement or claims processing workflows.
Support contract renewals, regulatory updates, and annual reimbursement changes.
Develop system documentation, build specifications, testing scripts, and operational procedures.
Participate in upgrades, optimizations, and Epic version releases.
Provide production support, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and change management.
Collaborate with Epic application teams supporting Claims, Benefits, Eligibility, Utilization Management, Provider Data, Interfaces, and Reporting to ensure end-to-end workflow integration.
Compensation and Work Arrangements
Hourly range: $85--$95. The hourly range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.

You configure contract logic and own system behavior from intake through deployment. Testing, documentation, and production support define daily tasks for this temporary role. You safeguard payment accuracy for provider contracts across commercial and government programs.

Investigating configuration faults that disrupt provider reimbursement or claim processing workflows.
Supporting contract updates, regulatory shifts, and annual reimbursement adjustments with documentation.
Requirements
You configure Epic Tapestry Contracts Administration functionality accurately and consistently.
Experience with provider contracting, claims operations, or revenue cycle workflows is mandatory.
You design solutions for commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and alternative payment models.
Understanding of reimbursement models including fee-for-service, DRG, APC, per diem, capitation, case rates, and custom models is required.
You translate legal language into technical configuration while ensuring data accuracy.
You partner with business and clinical teams to define requirements and architect solutions that scale.
You create system documentation, testing scripts, and operational procedures for future use.
You participate in upgrades, optimizations, and new Epic version implementations.
You provide production support, root cause analysis, and change management for live issues.
