About the role
Chartis Engagement Managers own the full lifecycle of revenue cycle transformation initiatives for acute care and ambulatory provider clients, ensuring strategic alignment and flawless execution from kickoff to close. You will act as a trusted advisor, leveraging deep healthcare expertise to guide clients through complex operational and financial challenges with confidence. This role requires you to balance multiple project inputs while managing the overall project direction to meet defined goals and timelines. You will coach and mentor junior analysts and associate consultants, driving the development of their technical and client-facing skills. The position demands the production of sophisticated and compelling deliverables that inspire client action and validate the value of the engagement. You will support the firm's growth by actively contributing to internal initiatives, thought leadership, and practice development. Success in this role is defined by your ability to synthesize healthcare insights and communicate them clearly to executive stakeholders. This is a remote position that requires 25%-50% client travel to ensure close collaboration with on-site teams.

What you'll do
Manage the overall project, balancing work effort and input from clients and colleagues to achieve goals.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, drawing upon healthcare knowledge and insights to navigate complex revenue cycle challenges.
Coach and mentor junior staff, driving the development of their skills and knowledge to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Produce sophisticated, compelling deliverables that motivate clients to action and support strategic decision-making.
Support the firm's growth through contributions to internal initiatives, including practice development and knowledge sharing.
Lead strategic and operational initiatives within the revenue cycle for healthcare provider clients across diverse settings.
Leverage industry perspective and a long track record of improvements to help clients achieve enhanced financial and operational performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital advisors, transactions experts, and healthcare futurists, to address multifaceted client needs.
Champion best practices in revenue cycle management for acute care and ambulatory settings during project execution.
Translate complex healthcare data and trends into clear, actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders.
Foster strong client relationships by demonstrating integrity, respect, and unwavering commitment to project success.
Ensure project timelines and deliverables align with client expectations and firm standards.
Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that reshape healthcare affordability, accessibility, safety, and human-centric design.
Maintain current knowledge of healthcare industry trends to provide relevant and forward-thinking advisory services.
Requirements
Experience working within revenue cycle and healthcare consulting on strategic and/or operational initiatives, including managing others.
Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH).
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Strong and effective people leader capable of guiding diverse teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote work environment.
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and respect in client engagements.
Willingness to travel 25%-50% as required for client projects and internal initiatives.

Remote work is allowed. On average, 25%-50% client travel is required.
Salary range: $153,000-$198,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
