About the role
Chartis seeks an Associate Partner to anchor its Revenue Cycle Transformation Practice, driving systemic change for healthcare organizations navigating complex operational pressures. The successful candidate will own the end-to-end execution of large-scale consulting engagements, ensuring alignment between strategic vision and operational reality in revenue cycle performance. This role demands a leader who applies deep healthcare expertise to generate actionable insights that transform client organizations from the inside out. You will leverage advanced knowledge of Epic HER revenue cycle capabilities to structure and guide transformation initiatives that support successful implementation and optimization. As a key member of the leadership team, you will mentor junior colleagues, elevating their analytical and problem-solving capabilities through hands-on coaching. The position requires building and sustaining trust-based relationships with clients, challenging assumptions, and identifying opportunities that extend beyond the initial engagement scope. You will actively contribute to the firm's intellectual capital, developing frameworks that address widespread healthcare financial and operational challenges. Ultimately, this role is about tangibly reshaping the healthcare landscape by delivering measurable improvements in affordability, access, and safety for the organizations we serve.
Key facts
What you'll do
Lead the delivery of client engagements within Chartis' Revenue Cycle Transformation Practice, including directing activities of the engagement team, leading the problem-solving process and overseeing team analysis and deliverables.
Apply thought leadership to client engagements, generating actionable insights that drive meaningful improvement for the firm's clients, developing frameworks and approaches with broad potential impact.
Build and maintain trust-based relationships with existing and prospective clients, drawing upon healthcare knowledge and insights to surface and discuss issues within and beyond the scope of specific consulting engagements.
Structure revenue cycle transformation projects through knowledge of Epic HER revenue cycle capabilities, ensuring alignment between technology, process, and strategic objectives.
Act as a coach and mentor to junior staff, rapidly developing their skills and and knowledge through an apprenticeship-based development model that strengthens the entire team.
Foster collaboration within engagement teams, across practices, and at all levels of the firm to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to problem-solving.
Help maintain a collaborative culture that attracts world-class, passionate, and mission-driven consultants who are committed to improving healthcare.
Advance the firm's impact by leading the execution and delivery of large, complex consulting engagements that deliver measurable value to clients.
Generate innovative solutions that address the evolving challenges of healthcare revenue cycle management and support sustainable financial performance.
Champion the use of data and analytical rigor to inform decision-making and drive transparent, evidence-based recommendations for clients.
Requirements
At least 10 years working with healthcare providers, including 2+ years managing others.
5+ years of experience working in revenue cycle leadership.
Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH).

Practical notes
Travel expectations vary by team and engagement. Colleagues are expected to travel when asked.
Flexibility to travel as required.
Salary range: $178,000-$209,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
