Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage key employee lifecycle events within Workday, including hiring, internal transfers, and departures, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and efficiently. You will also identify opportunities to improve these processes for better efficiency and user experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions, providing support through a ticketing system, and ensuring timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and systems.
- Maintain data integrity across all people management systems by performing regular audits, verifying information accuracy, and correcting any discrepancies to ensure reliable reporting and compliance.
- Find opportunities to automate manual HR and People processes by leveraging AI and workflow automation tools. Collaborate with the team to design, test, and implement these automation solutions to reduce manual effort and increase process consistency.
- Develop and maintain the internal knowledge base for the People team, creating self-service resources that help employees and managers access information quickly and reduce repetitive inquiries.
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs on a global scale, ensuring timely enrollment, updates, and compliance with local regulations.
- Support compliance and audit readiness efforts, including preparing documentation for SOC 2 and other regulatory requirements. Update and maintain the employee handbook to reflect policy changes and ensure alignment with legal standards.
- Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures, playbooks, and documentation for all core People workflows, ensuring clarity and consistency across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, BizTech, Legal, and Security to troubleshoot and resolve process, program, or data issues, fostering a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of HR systems and processes, providing feedback and insights to improve overall efficiency and employee experience.
- Support special projects related to HR technology, compliance, and process improvements, helping to implement new initiatives that align with company goals.
Requirements

- Have prior experience working with Google Suite, including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets, and be willing to learn new features and tools as needed.
- Demonstrate strong project management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Show a team-first attitude and a customer-focused approach, always aiming to support and serve employees and internal stakeholders.
- Be proactive and creative in problem-solving, with the ability to identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Prior experience in HR, People Operations, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of HR systems, workflows, or automation tools is advantageous.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Workday, Atlassian, or Google Workspace from an end-user or process perspective.
- Experience with HR compliance programs and audits, including gathering evidence, documenting controls, and supporting audit processes.
- Background in People (HR) Operations or similar program management roles, with a focus on process improvement and documentation.
- Proven skills in creating and maintaining documentation, knowledge bases, and communication materials.
- Hands-on experience with AI, automation, or agentic tools, demonstrating an interest in leveraging emerging technologies to improve HR functions.
- Knowledge of global HR practices and compliance requirements to support international employee programs.
