The Supply Chain team has spent recent years delivering the specialized components required for our SPARC tokamak. This includes multi-ton forgings, cryoplants, vacuum vessels, superconductors, and power supplies. We have built a deeply technical and talented Supply Chain team and established the foundation for a future fusion supply chain. This position is responsible for scaling the global fusion Supply Chain to deliver multiple ARC power plants annually. The Vice President of Supply Chain will lead the next phases of scale-up, supplier development, planning, procurement, logistics, supplier quality, and systems. You will drive a multi-billion dollar procurement portfolio, architecting CFS's internal supply chain systems and enabling the delivery of many ARCs per year.

Key Responsibilities

You will own the end-to-end flow that moves fusion hardware from early supplier discussions to installed power plants. Decisions you make will shape how CFS sources, builds, and delivers ARC and SPARC systems worldwide. This role directs planning, procurement, and logistics to ensure critical components arrive on schedule. You will forge supplier strategies and contracts to secure critical components for multi-ton systems and cryoplants. You will shape build plans and schedules so that vacuum vessels, superconductors, and power supplies flow without delay. You will direct review checkpoints that monitor supplier quality, technical compliance, and risk for each customized part. You will orchestrate shipping processes, logistics routing, and documentation for heavy components traveling to global sites. You will establish partner routines with policymakers and vendors to align standards and secure long-term capacity. You will implement control towers and dashboards that reveal procurement performance and forecast needs for ARC deployment. You will champion continuous improvement in the supply chain, adjusting playbooks as systems scale to many ARCs yearly.

Location: USA

Engagement: Full-time.

Compensation: $250,000 to $300,000 USD per year.
