Join the power movement as an Operations Planner

You will manage tactical planning efforts on the production floor while owning the integration of production schedules with procurement and logistics workflows. This role is responsible for enabling the ramp up in rate and volume of materials to the floor, ensuring that production service level expectations are consistently met through disciplined analysis and proactive adjustments. You will act as a central coordination point between manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to maintain alignment on priorities and capacity. The position demands a structured mindset capable of balancing multiple timelines and shifting dependencies in a fast-paced environment. You will use data and real-time feedback to drive continuous improvements in planning accuracy and execution efficiency. Your work will directly influence the throughput and reliability of critical production activities. You will be expected to translate high-level operational goals into clear, actionable plans that can be followed by floor teams. This is a hands-on role where your decisions and follow-through will determine the stability of the production pipeline.

What you'll do

Coordinate detailed production schedules across multiple lines, ensuring that material availability matches operational capacity.

Own the end to end planning for assigned product lines, tracking order status, lead times, and bottleneck constraints.

Drive execution of procurement plans in collaboration with suppliers, monitoring order placements, confirmations, and receipts.

Analyze schedule adherence and lead time performance, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.

Maintain accurate and up to date records in operational systems, supporting traceability and reporting requirements.

Support the ramp up of production volume by preparing and managing detailed workflow plans and resource allocations.

Liaise with cross functional teams to resolve issues that could impact production timelines or service levels.

Monitor inventory levels and work closely with logistics to ensure timely movement of materials into production.

Perform regular reviews of supplier performance, escalating risks and driving improvement initiatives where necessary.

Translate operational objectives into clear work plans, assigning tasks and tracking completion to ensure on time delivery.

Provide status updates to internal stakeholders, facilitating transparency and informed decision making at all levels.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting processes, capturing lessons learned, and proposing enhancements.

Assist in the execution of standard operating procedures related to production planning, quality checks, and compliance.

Manage changeovers and sequencing on the production floor to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Requirements

Must reside in the United States.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment at the time of hire.

Must have the right to permanent employment in the United States for the role location.

Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.

Must be able to submit proof of eligibility to work in the United States at the time of hire.

Must be able to commute to or be relocated to Devens, Massachusetts for the role.

Must have at least three years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain planning roles.

Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

Experience with manufacturing execution systems or shop floor data systems.

Experience supporting high mix, low volume production environments.

Experience with statistical analysis tools and data visualization.

Experience in regulated industries.

Experience with project management methodologies.

Practical notes

This role requires full time onsite presence in Devens, Massachusetts.

There may be limited travel required as part of supplier visits or internal meetings.
