About the role
You will manage daily operations at our Inspection Center to ensure vehicles meet our high quality standards. In this capacity, you will lead a large team within a lean manufacturing environment while driving production goals, staff development, and process efficiency. The position requires ownership of end to end workflows and accountability for meeting strict quality benchmarks. You will mentor your team through performance management, training initiatives, and leadership development programs. Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage all daily functions within the Inspection Center from start to finish.
- Oversee at least 5 leads and up to 70 front line associates across multiple shifts.
- Mentor staff through performance management, structured training, and leadership development.
- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with both short term targets and long term company objectives.
- Monitor adherence to all operating policies, standard procedures, and safety protocols.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members while managing succession planning for critical roles.
- Coordinate production capacity and planning across all inspection lines to optimize flow.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate problem solving at the team level.
- Maintain high standards for quality, production volume, cost control, and on time delivery.

Requirements
- Possess 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.
- Show a proven track record of leading and developing teams to achieve or exceed established metrics.
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire.
- Hold a valid, unrestricted driver license with a clean record for the past 3 years.
- Have the ability to walk up to 3 miles daily and stand for extended periods while performing duties.
- Maintain the capacity to lift up to 40 pounds independently without assistance.
- Exhibit the ability to work comfortably in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and odors.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English and basic computer skills required for daily operations.
- Be available to work weekends and overtime as needed to support business demands.
