What you'll do
- Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring optimal production levels and efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of at least five leads and up to 70 frontline associates, fostering a culture of growth and development.
- Implement strategic initiatives to achieve quality, production, and cost objectives effectively.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of both supervisory and production personnel.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, loss prevention measures, and operational standards throughout the facility.
- Spearhead continuous improvement projects and lead problem-solving initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Guarantee that all team members complete necessary certification and training programs to maintain high standards of work.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience in the automotive sector or in a lean manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in achieving project goals and meeting performance metrics consistently.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English fluently.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record for the last three years.
- Willingness to work on weekends and overtime as required by operational needs.
- Physical capability to walk up to three miles daily and remain standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds independently.
- Comfort working in environments that may have varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential exposure to fumes.
