This role is responsible for creating a polished and welcoming environment for employees and visitors through consistent attention to shared spaces, inventory, and cleanliness. You will serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and building partners, ensuring all office logistics run smoothly and professionally. The position requires a high-slope operator who is excited to learn the inner workings of a fast-growing health tech startup while growing alongside the team. You will play a critical role in both the employee and candidate experience by organizing thoughtful, high-quality onsite interactions. What you'll do
- Assume full ownership of the day-to-day workplace experience in the Denver office, crafting an environment that feels polished, organized, and welcoming for employees and guests.
- Manage the lifeblood of the office by maintaining shared spaces, monitoring snacks and beverages, and rigorously overseeing office supply inventory to prevent disruptions.
- Act as the operational heartbeat of the office by coordinating shipments and deliveries, managing office capacity, and supporting any moving or reconfiguration initiatives as we grow.
- Serve as the primary greeter and host, meeting visitors, conducting tours for new hires, and supporting in-office interviews, offsites, and board meetings with meticulous preparation.
- Partner closely with vendors and building security teams, acting as the central liaison for office-related logistics, handling incoming deliveries, and nurturing these critical relationships.
- Ensure meeting rooms and common areas are consistently set up for the week ahead, arranging furniture, preparing conference spaces, and confirming all IT setups are functional.
- Identify friction points in current workflows and bring structure to recurring tasks, creating systems and habits that improve office operations as the company scales.
- Proactively notice needs before being asked, taking initiative to solve problems and keep the office environment high-functioning with minimal supervision.
- Support the preparation of workstations for new employees so that every team member can start their day with everything they need to be successful.
- Oversee the ongoing upkeep of the office to a high standard, taking pride in the presentation and functionality of our physical space.
- Expand your scope over time to include additional responsibilities in executive admin, recruiting, or people operations projects as you ramp and demonstrate mastery.
- Contribute directly to the employee experience by ensuring the office feels like a supportive, high-energy place where people are happy to show up.
- Collaborate with the broader people team on initiatives that strengthen our community and reinforce our culture through well-executed onsite moments.
- Maintain clear and responsive communication across employees, vendors, visitors, and building partners to ensure alignment and trust.
- Document recurring processes and improvements to create a durable playbook for workplace operations that can be referenced and refined.
