Typical assignments involve projects valued between one hundred million and two hundred twenty-five million dollars. These engagements demand a sustained presence of two to four years. Employment decisions are based strictly on project requirements and the candidate's profile.

Core Responsibilities

You will establish the safety rhythm for each site, converting policy into consistent daily practice. This includes coordinating the intake of all safety documentation and confirming site readiness before any work commences. You will design build-phase safety workflows in collaboration with project directors, ensuring each phase is protected.

A key duty is to review inspection results and near-miss trends to continuously refine on-site protective measures. You will prepare and distribute all required safety reports to stakeholders, ensuring strict regulatory and contractual compliance. Acting as the primary safety liaison, you will partner with owners, subcontractors, and other external entities to align expectations.

Daily site walks form a central part of the role, allowing you to verify housekeeping standards and the effectiveness of hazard controls. You will conduct thorough inspections of all active work areas and document findings meticulously. New hire orientation on site procedures will be delivered to ensure clarity before high-risk tasks begin.

The role requires readiness to operate in confined spaces or at extreme heights while managing weather and site variables. You will prepare detailed incident narratives and damage logs to explain events and support corrective actions. Additional assignments will be carried out as directed by management to address evolving project needs.

Working Conditions

The environment is construction-focused and involves significant travel. You must be available full time and capable of working in hot, cold, humid, or wet conditions depending on location. The role requires crawling, climbing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, and standing for extended periods.

You must be able to lift and hold more than fifty pounds. The ability to withstand confined spaces or extreme heights is essential while maintaining a safe approach to tasks. Personal safety and the safety of others depend on constant vigilance and adherence to protocols.

You must hold current knowledge of OSHA standards or the Corps of Engineers EM385-1-1. Clearance and medical readiness are prerequisites. You must currently hold, or be able to obtain, a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance. Required certifications include OSHA 30-hour, Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), First Aid/CPR, and Competent Persons Training. You must be able to submit these certifications upon request.

Requirements

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent certificate as the minimum educational qualification.
• Accumulate a minimum of five years of experience in safety management within construction or related fields.
• Maintain current knowledge of OSHA standards and the Corps of Engineers EM385-1-1 regulations.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills for interactions with client representatives and multinational teams.
• Currently hold, or be capable of obtaining, a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance.
• Possess valid certifications including OSHA 30-hour, Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), First Aid/CPR, and Competent Persons Training.
