Compensation and Engagement
This is a full-time role based in Woodstock, Georgia, requiring on-site presence at the corporate office. The annual compensation range is clearly defined between sixty thousand and seventy thousand dollars. Candidates must be available to work from the Woodstock location and travel to job sites as operational needs dictate. This engagement is full-time, and the listed compensation reflects the total expected contribution for the role.
What you'll do
- Execute the intake and resolution of all user-initiated tickets within the enterprise helpdesk system, ensuring no request is overlooked.
- Configure and set up personal computers, smartphones, and associated peripherals for new hires and field teams before project kickoff.
- Provide technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices via telephone and on-site visits to resolve user issues efficiently.
- Manage the life cycle of printers, multifunction scanners, and audio/visual equipment, including deployment, maintenance, and repair coordination.
- Serve as the primary contact for video and web conferencing platforms, including Cisco Webex, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, guiding users through complex setups.
- Coordinate directly with internal technology teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and preparation of hardware for field crews.
- Perform diagnostic testing on devices during the intake and build phases to identify and rectify issues that could impede user productivity.
- Partner with other internal groups to test and deploy system updates, ensuring rigorous validation before promotion to production environments at job sites.
- Monitor the performance of systems throughout the review stages to identify potential bottlenecks or recurring issues proactively.
- Document every fix and process in detail to create a robust knowledge base that supports future deployments and handoffs to partners.
- Verify user satisfaction and issue resolution by confirming that the ticket can be closed only after the user confirms the fix is successful.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all support activities to ensure transparency and continuity for future technical engagements.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and safety protocols to ensure that all technical interactions are conducted securely and responsibly.
- Act as a liaison between the field operations and the corporate office to ensure that technical requirements are met consistently.
- Contribute to the improvement of support procedures by identifying trends and suggesting enhancements to the helpdesk workflow.
- Ensure that all equipment is prepared and tested prior to deployment to prevent delays on active construction projects.
- Support the overall IT infrastructure by handling a wide variety of technical requests with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Uphold the integrity of the company's data and systems by following established security guidelines and best practices.
Requirements
A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory for this position. You must bring 3 to 5 years of professional information technology experience to the table. A demonstrated history of ticket management is essential for success in this environment. You must have hands-on experience setting up computer hardware and configuring peripheral devices without supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required on a daily basis. You must also have advanced familiarity with web conferencing tools to assist users effectively. Reliable transportation is a necessity, as you must work from the Woodstock office and commute to job sites regularly. You must successfully pass all required background checks as part of the onboarding process. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for this position to ensure safe travel to job sites.
Nice to have
Experience working within company condominiums is beneficial for understanding the specific operational environment. Familiarity with time tracking tools is a plus when available, as it helps with project accountability.
