This role requires you to manage and develop local and international teams, ensuring that all work aligns with Caddell's stringent standards and client expectations. You will act as the central communication hub, resolving complex field issues and fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders. You must demonstrate unwavering accountability for cost control, resource allocation, and the delivery of mechanical systems to the highest level of excellence. Success in this position is defined by your ability to lead multinational crews, navigate cultural complexities, and drive projects to successful completion. You will also be expected to mentor emerging leaders and uphold the company's reputation for integrity and performance on a global scale.

What you'll do

• Orchestrate the end-to-end execution of mechanical construction programs on international projects, aligning daily field operations with corporate objectives and client mandates.
• Direct and supervise the productivity of crafts and subcontractors, deploying leadership across cultural and linguistic boundaries to ensure cohesive team performance.
• Serve as the primary liaison for maintaining rigorous compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules, implementing proactive verification protocols.
• Conduct detailed pre-job reviews of plans, budgets, and estimates in collaboration with project leadership to clarify scope, resource needs, and delivery timelines.
• Facilitate and contribute to weekly progress meetings with subcontractors, extracting actionable insights and driving continuous improvement on-site.
• Provide critical input during the early project planning phase, focusing on logistics related to receiving, storing, and safeguarding materials in diverse operational environments.
• Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex construction challenges, including productivity constraints and system interface conflicts, using structured problem-solving methods.
• Champion the development of trust-based relationships with project owners and engineering firms, promoting a cooperative ethos among all project stakeholders.
• Execute additional duties and special assignments as directed by project superintendents and project managers to support evolving project demands.
• Uphold the highest standards of occupational health and safety, ensuring that all work practices mitigate risks associated with international construction settings.
• Adapt operational strategies to address variable working conditions, including extreme climates, confined spaces, and significant elevation changes, without compromising safety or quality.
• Represent Caddell Construction with professionalism and excellence, reinforcing the company's strategic goals across all international engagements.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent general educational development certificate as a foundational educational credential.
• Must accumulate a minimum of 15 years of total construction management experience, demonstrating a proven track record in complex project environments.
• Must include at least five years of direct design/build experience specifically with mechanical systems to ensure technical proficiency.
• Must hold the ability to submit relevant certifications upon request and successfully pass a medical clearance assessment prior to international deployment.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance as a condition of employment.
• U.S. Government employment authorization is required to fulfill the obligations of this international role.
• Must be capable of meeting stringent physical demands, including the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended operational periods.
• Must demonstrate the strength to lift and support in excess of 50 pounds safely and consistently in dynamic field conditions.
• Must possess clear speech and hearing capabilities to communicate effectively in high-noise and multicultural worksite environments.
• Must be resilient in withstanding harsh environmental conditions, including hot, cold, humid, and wet settings encountered on international projects.
• Must be fully comfortable working within confined spaces and at significant heights while maintaining rigorous safety protocols.

Nice to have

• Preferred preparation includes a four-year degree in building science, construction management, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Preferred accumulation of 10 years of total construction management experience, with substantial design/build mechanical background.
• Demonstrated success in coaching, leading, and motivating multi-national and multi-disciplined project teams.
• Advanced expertise in cost management and schedule control within international construction frameworks.
• Comprehensive knowledge of global safety requirements and best practices for diverse regulatory environments.
• Strong client relations skills that have been tested and proven on complex, high-profile international projects.
