About the role
This position owns the delivery and oversight of Building Information Modeling activities across multiple active international projects for Caddell Construction. The hire will establish and maintain BIM standards tailored to each client's strict requirements while ensuring alignment with corporate processes. They will act as the central technical authority guiding project teams on model development, coordination strategies, and digital workflow optimization. The role demands proactive identification of emerging BIM technologies and methods to enhance project delivery on a global scale. Success in this position will be measured by the accuracy, completeness, and coordination of BIM models that support constructability reviews and reduce field conflicts. The individual will contribute directly to improving project timelines, cost control, and stakeholder satisfaction through disciplined model management.

What you'll do
Develop detailed BIM models that precisely reflect client specifications and Caddell Construction internal standards for international projects.
Provide advanced software support to project teams, ensuring proficient use of all relevant BIM and design tools while updating models to reflect design changes.
Lead clash coordination activities using Navisworks and similar platforms, managing complex subcontractor layout models to resolve spatial conflicts.
Perform rigorous quality control on BIM deliverables, verifying model completeness and adherence to project specifications and contractual obligations.
Support site utilization planning efforts by generating accurate models that inform logistics, safety, and sequencing decisions on complex job sites.
Create and implement project-specific BIM execution plans that define modeling protocols, level of detail, and collaboration workflows for multinational teams.
Pursue continuous professional development through online training to maintain cutting-edge competence in BIM software and methodologies.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to elevate the BIM proficiency of Caddell Construction internal staff across various locations.
Maintain all BIM-related hardware and software infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Monitor the global BIM technology landscape and evaluate new tools or processes that could provide a competitive advantage on international projects.
Operate within demanding construction environments that require extended periods of physical activity, including crawling, climbing, walking, and working at extreme heights.
Report directly to the Project Manager, integrating BIM strategy with overall project execution and maintaining alignment with leadership objectives.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's degree in architecture, Structural or MEP Engineering, or Construction Management from an accredited institution.
Possess a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in BIM management or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in model review, clash detection processes, and the production of comprehensive clash reports.
Show advanced competency in BIM and CAD software, specifically Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD or equivalent platforms used in international contexts.
Have hands-on experience with CPM scheduling software and BIM-related coursework that supports schedule-model integration.

Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for coordinating with diverse stakeholders across time zones.
Maintain excellent organizational skills to manage multiple project models, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously without compromising quality.
Possess strong computer skills and the technical aptitude to learn new software applications rapidly in changing project environments.
Display strong client relations skills, ensuring that BIM outputs meet or exceed the expectations of multinational owners and design teams.
Practical notes
The role requires full-time availability with significant travel to various international construction sites under varying conditions. Work is subject to hot, cold, humid, and wet environments depending on the project location and season. Employees must be capable of crawling, climbing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, and standing for extended periods while lifting and supporting weights in excess of 50 pounds. The position involves occasional work in confined spaces or at extreme heights, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols to protect oneself and others. Clearance and medical certification must be obtained prior to deployment, including a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
