Butterfly Network leads a digital revolution in medical imaging, moving away from legacy, hardware-dependent systems toward connected, software-defined platforms. The company's Ultrasound-on-Chip™ technology underpins handheld devices such as Butterfly iQ, iQ+, and iQ3, enabling affordable, accessible imaging. Intelligent software, AI, services, and education further drive adoption across health systems, clinics, and care teams. This role focuses on the cloud-based experience layer of the Butterfly platform, spanning administrator workflows, clinical workflows, and education products. You will own strategy and execution to deliver a best-in-class experience for health system administrators, program managers, and clinicians. This position reports to the head of POCUS Product and collaborates with Core Platform and Clinical Experience Product Managers, clinical stakeholders, and engineering. You will translate complex enterprise needs into coherent product outcomes that align with the broader SaaS vision.

What you'll do
Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for administrator experience and clinical workflows on the Butterfly cloud platform.
Lead the design and evolution of cloud-based clinical workflow products, including Documentation (Worksheets, Tags, Exam Types) and Quality Assurance tools.
Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation, and agentic workflows to reduce manual work and improve documentation quality for administrators and clinicians.
Partner closely with Core Platform on monthly cloud release documentation, feature enablement, and entitlement management to ensure coherent end-user workflows.
Work with engineering, design, clinical affairs, and customer success to define requirements, drive development, and guide key milestones for admin and clinical tools.
Integrate customer feedback, research insights, and data analysis into product decisions and roadmap prioritization for enterprise and clinical users.
Develop deep expertise in health system administrator and clinician workflows to uncover unmet needs and translate them into compelling product solutions.
Support pre-sales, implementation, and customer success activities related to the cloud platform to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
Own end-to-end product outcomes for tools such as Proficiency Management, Analytics, Program Performance, User Management and Access Roles, Fleet Management, and Butterfly Academy & Education Dashboard.
Champion usability and clarity in clinical documentation workflows, ensuring tools fit naturally into existing care delivery processes.
Drive the adoption and proficiency of cloud platform features through structured workflows, analytics, and education products.
Collaborate with data teams to define metrics and dashboards that inform product performance and user engagement.
Act as the primary product voice for administrators and clinicians within the SaaS organization, balancing strategic goals with practical usability.
Contribute to the broader SaaS product strategy by sharing insights from admin and clinical workflows with cross-functional partners.
Requirements
You must bring three to five years of experience managing complex software products in enterprise or clinical environments.
You need hands-on experience with admin interfaces, clinical workflows, and documentation processes in healthcare.
You must demonstrate strong skills in data analysis, user research, and translating requirements into product specifications.
You should have a history of working with AI-enabled tools and automation within digital health or SaaS platforms.
You must be comfortable owning ambiguous problems and driving clarity through collaboration with stakeholders.
You should have experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, clinical affairs, and customer success.
You must communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, articulating tradeoffs and rationale.
You should be able to operate independently while aligning with a distributed product and engineering culture.
You must have a deep commitment to improving healthcare through technology and a respect for clinical workflows.
You should be comfortable using web-based tools on a daily basis to build, analyze, and iterate on products.
You must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
You should have experience working with regulated environments and understanding of healthcare compliance considerations.
You must be willing to learn deeply about Butterfly's technology and how it maps to customer use cases.
You should have a background in product management methodologies and agile development practices.
Nice to have
Experience with Ultrasound-on-Chip technology or medical imaging workflows.
Experience with connected ultrasound or point-of-care imaging devices.
Background in proficiency management, education, or workforce performance analytics in clinical settings.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, and modern data stacks.
Understanding of AI and automation applications in clinical documentation and workflows.

This role may involve occasional travel to support implementation, customer success, and clinical partnerships as needed.
The position reports to the head of POCUS Product and is part of the broader SaaS product organization.
Required tools include Figma, JIRA, Confluence, Aha!, Gainsight, Qualtrics, Tableau, Snowflake, Python, Redshift, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
This role is responsible for the admin and clinical workflow domain within the SaaS product portfolio.
