What you'll do

• Lead the development and execution of Burai's AI strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and market demands.
• Oversee the design and implementation of AI models and algorithms, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and effective in solving real-world problems.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing products and services, enhancing functionality and user experience.
• Manage a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI researchers, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Conduct research to stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, applying this knowledge to drive Burai's competitive edge.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders to promote collaborative research and development in AI.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for AI projects and monitor progress, ensuring that objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in AI or machine learning roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Proven track record of successfully leading AI projects from conception to deployment, demonstrating measurable business impact.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience in AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and statistical analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in managing and mentoring teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
