This position holds significant ownership over the daily operations and the long term strategic direction of our workplace as the company continues to expand. What you'll do
Coordinate the end to end management of the Berlin office to ensure daily operations run seamlessly and support the team effectively.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the employee experience, focusing on comfort, accessibility, and satisfaction within the workplace.
Oversee the planning and execution of office layout adjustments to optimize space utilization and foster collaboration among team members.
Manage relationships with local vendors and service providers, ensuring that contracts are negotiated and services are delivered to a high standard.
Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to create a secure working environment that complies with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Utilize office management software to monitor inventory, track resources, and streamline administrative tasks related to the workplace.
Analyze workplace data and feedback to identify trends, allowing for informed decisions that improve the functionality and ambiance of the office.
Lead projects related to workplace culture, organizing events and initiatives that strengthen community and engagement among employees.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that the workplace evolves in alignment with the changing needs of the team and company goals.
Leverage project management tools to plan, execute, and review workplace initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication.
Monitor and control office expenditures, using budgeting software to forecast costs and maintain financial efficiency across workplace operations.
Champion continuous improvement by regularly reviewing workplace processes and implementing best practices that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Act as the primary point of contact for workplace related inquiries, providing timely and professional support to all employees.
Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure that workplace policies support talent attraction, retention, and overall employee wellbeing.
Drive the execution of the hybrid work model, managing scheduling and facilities coordination to accommodate flexible working arrangements.
Requirements
Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment by adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
Bring previous experience working in a startup setting, where you have navigated the unique dynamics and fast paced nature of such an environment.
Show proficiency in the German language at a B1 level or higher to facilitate effective communication with colleagues and local partners.
