Requirements
You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this role and related clearance processes.
You are required to have reliable transportation to reach various school sites within the West Cleveland area.
You must be willing to accept multiple assignments across different schools as opportunities arise.
You need to show consistent dependability and strong attendance once assignments are scheduled.
You must be comfortable performing physical work that may include standing, lifting, and extended periods of activity.
You are expected to follow all safety guidelines and reporting procedures while on school property.
You must pass required background checks, including a livescan, to ensure the safety of students and staff.
You are responsible for covering any costs associated with clearance, such as background checks and mandated training.
Nice to have
Comfort engaging with students and contributing to a positive school atmosphere.
Experience supporting cafeteria or food service areas is helpful but not required.
Ability to adapt to different school environments and work schedules.
A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail when managing facility tasks.

Practical notes
This position operates as a 1099 independent contractor arrangement, and payroll occurs on a weekly basis following assignment completion.
You will need full day availability at least two days per week to maximize assignment opportunities.
Typical shifts include morning and afternoon blocks such as 6:30a to 3:30p or 9a to 2p depending on assignment type.
Work can be scheduled during the summer and throughout the school year based on district needs.
You must be willing to commute to multiple school sites within the assigned geographical region.
Costs related to background checks and mandated clearances are the sole responsibility of the contractor.
The average clearance cost in Ohio for facilities roles is approximately $1099.
Lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for extended periods may be required during shifts.
